Battleship Pets?

Hey All. Sometimes During PVE Missions I Notice Some Players {Don't Recall Their Ship] Have 2 Or More Tyhoon Battleships Escorting Them. Is This an Abillitie? Or Very Rare Pet Purchase?:confused:

    That's the Photonic Fleet ability that Science captains have.

    Sci Captains get Photonic Fleet, Which can spawn Typhoons. ALso fleet Support, which all captains Get at RA(42), now spawns Typhoons at level III

    Photonic Fleet is before 50 but chance of spawning battleships is very low till the level 3 version.

    A sci character gets it at captain rank.

    Typhoons are useless, if onle a pair of avengers could appear.. :)

    And do what? They're going to be NPC ships and they barely do anything at all. Nothing at all like Carrier Hangar Units.

    hmm,my sci toon does not have photonic fleet in the abilities tray on the ship and is level 52.:confused:

    OMG would be great to have pets.. would be better to have the 1st officer then sub captain system to have 1-2 of your mothballed ships fly as companions.... set a small tray of cycling abilities via BOffs and an old promise comes to mind.. "an away team of ships" likely never happen though..

    Well redo your tray. the ability will be in your powers box. hit p and then go from there.
