cannot purchase new winter items??

I was going to try out one of the new weapons....and it's priced the same as the others...but for some reason I cannot get the option to buy....what gives?

    What gives is that you haven't run the Tide Of Ice event enough times to unlock them. 5 times for snow weaposn and fashion, 10 times for the warp and singularity core.

    Oh, and this is about the 5th thread on the topic.

    Click on the item you can't buy and it tells you why you can't buy it.

    If they made it clear in game, there wouldn't be any threads. A simple line at the top of the menu, or a popup the first time you open up the window would save a lot of confusion. Not everyone is hip to the latest convoluted rules.

    And this is exactly why I came to the forums, because I had stuff left over from last year and wanted to pick up a couple things new this year. I really don't want to play their stupid mini-games, so I guess I will bank them and move on.

    I understand the next patch will add a description for this requirement to the winter store so hopefully these threads will go away eventually

    currently you have to double click on the item to see why you can't purchase it

    if you don't want to do "their stupid mini-games" this year what's the point in banking your items you wont want to do "their stupid mini-games" next year either so you will be in the same position.

    When I think about everything we've been through together,

    maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

     and if that journey takes a little longer,

    so we can do something we all believe in,

     I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

    that sounds like a big "may be" so it could also be "may be not" and as I said.
