Cryo and Plasma Gernade Modules: Incompatable?

How many grenade modules are you allowed to have on one kit?

I have a Xindi Mark 12 tac kit; 1 tac slot, 2 strategy slots, and 2 assault slots.
My modules are: A Cryo grenade, a Photon Grenade, a Plasma Grenade, a Suppression Fire, and a Motion Accelorator.

I should be able to put all of those on my kit, but i can't. I can have a Plasma and Photon, a Photon and Cryo, but not a Cryo and a Plasma.

Are they set up to be exclusive, or is this just a glitch?
A Trill, a Gorn, a Jem'Hadar, Bejoran and a Voth walk into a bar, and the Bartender asks "What is this a Joke?"
"Nope, just my away team" the trill replies before ordering a round for the bar.

    They're exclusive. Kit modules fall into certain 'types' if you will, that have equip limits. For example, several modules are classified as a photon grenade type and you can't equip them simultaneously, like the bio-molecular grenade from the 8472 rep, vanilla photon grenades, and I believe the delta rep grenade. Endothermic and exothermic induction field both count as an induction field so you can't equip those simultaneously, you can't equip several turrets or mortars simultaneously, etc..

    What i do is basically only a max of 2 grenades on per kit, One Photon and one plasma, the Cryo falls under plasma category soo that is why the Romulan, reg Plasma and cyro cant be together.

    Mkay, kind of thought that was the case.
