Star Trek San Francisco Convention 2014!

Star Trek Online is proud to announce that we will be joining Creation Entertainment at their 2014 San Francisco Convention, and we will be hosting our own booth for fans new and old to visit and check out a live demo of STO! You can test your character creation skills for a chance to win in-game ZEN, as well as enter our raffles for fantastic Star Trek Attack Wing prizes donated by our friends at Wizkids, and even enter to win a VIP Backstage Pass to mingle with the special guest stars of Star Trek who will be appearing at the convention! We will also have a small selection of STO posters to raffle off as a Sunday closing ceremony exclusive!

VIP Backstage Passes Giveaway

Fans who come to our booth and register a new account in STO** will also be entered into the raffle for a chance to win a VIP Backstage Pass to mingle with the Star Trek stars! We will draw the winner for this amazing prize on Friday afternoon, so make sure to get to the convention bright and early to register to win! You could be having drinks with Counselor Troi and Q before the weekend ends!

Star Trek Attack Wing & Borg Cube Giveaway from Wizkids

We have a great selection of Giveaways that we will raffle off each day at our booth. Thanks to the generous donation of prizes from Wizkids, we have three sets of Star Trek Attack Wing Miniatures Game packs (pictured in blog) and the one Grand Prize giveaway of an Star Trek Attack Wing Borg Cube! Resistance to our giveaways is futile! Make sure to stop by our booth each day to register for the raffle and check out to check out our other giveaway items!

Convention Holo-Leeta Giveaway

We will have giveaway flyers ready for your chance to pick up the Convention Bundle of the Holo-Leeta DOff and the Convention in-game Title, but if you miss out on the card, don't forget to send us your selfies from the convention to get your hands on a code. You can Tweet those to us at @TrekOnlineGame or post them in this convention forum thread.

Come celebrate the launch of Delta Rising with us at the Star Trek SF Convention, and meet STO Community Managers CaptainSmirk and LaughingTrendy, as well as Cryptic Devs ThomasTheCrypticCat, TacoFangs and more! We will be manning our stations at the booth all weekend long, so stop by and pose for selfies with us too!

* One pack per day will be given out each day of the convention, with the Borg Cube being given out in addition to the other pack giveaways. Winners will need to be present at the booth the day that they win in order to claim their prize.

** Users will be required to register through Arc for an account in STO that will require a valid email address and full real name information for the pass itself. Existing STO users who visit our booth can enter to win, after providing us with your existing Arc acount information and full name.

    For reasons beyond me, Creation is also hosting a Star Trek convention in the Seattle area during the same days: http://www.creationent.com/cal/st_seattle.html

    I know that sending the team to Seattle is probably infeasible given the overlap and key consideration that SF is essentially in Cryptic/PWE's backyard, but
    1. What about sending swag?
    2. Can you at least make the convention bundle available to Seattle con-goers?

    While our booth exclusives will be limited to the SF Con, you can send us your selfies from the Seattle convention to get yourself the Convention Bundle with Holo-Leeta and the in-game title!

    Just reply to this thread too with a link to your photo, or Tweet it to @TrekOnlineGame and make sure to include your in-game charactername@handle so we can send you your code. :)

    Enjoy the Seattle Convention, and know that we are super jealous that you get to see Jeri Ryan!

    Woot! I can actually attend this year! Last year I was out of state.

    -edit- Oh GOD why is it at the Hyatt and not at the Moscone center? QQ This slightly complicates transportation logistics.

    I hope everyone going has a great time! Is it possible that you all could post some official pics other than selfies? I have always wanted to get out to one of these to experience it firsthand and snag some swag, but i was beamed in on the wrong side of the damned country :D

    I had a great time at the Con. I was there on Friday and Sunday afternoons (sorry I missed the meet up!), and had a great time meeting players, and introducing new folks to the game.

    I hope you all had a good time as well.

    Maybe we'll see you in Vegas this summer?

    Wish they would cme to a convention in Newcastle Upon Tyne in the UK but all the main conventions is in London which is to expensive to get to so I will never get holo leeta unless she is released in another sort of giveaway

    You can get a code for attending a convention we're not at. I think you just have to send Smirk a picture of yourself there.

    Note: Speaking from previous experience, it has to be a Creation Entertainment convention.

    Yeah,but the experience got spoiled by the PWE team....they ruin all the fun no matter where they are.
    The PWE/Cryptic sweatshop...not where the game is made,but where the game is played!

    Now I know that Gene Rogenberry is American and so is Paramount and so is Cryptic/PWE. But why in the name of God is there never a decent convention in the United Kingdom, home of Patrick Stewart!

    Or any other country for that matter?

    America isn't the only country who enjoys the ST franchise.
    Not everyone can afford to ship out to USA for a week just for a convention.
    I know there was one in London about two years ago for one day only but that was one day and it was majorly sold out and there were many disappointed fans.

    This I find unfair!
