Beaming Out?

I didn't want to put this in the bug forum because it's more than likely me doing it wrong. I can't seem to get any of the beam out animations to work for my NPCs, I've set the effect I want and when the NPC's state should change from visible to invisible but they just fade out with no effect. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    It's not a bug per se as it's been this way as long as we've been able to despawn NPCs. However, we also have no way of setting an NPC to beam out.

    Sorry, it's just one of those hard/fast limitations of the Foundry at the moment. :(

    yeah unfortunately animations are tied to idle animation on maps, and not on state change. IF we could ever get state change animations, then we can do it. as of right now its no go

    That's a shame, going to need to re-write parts of this mission then. Maybe I'll just slap on a pop-up dialogue to mask the de-spawn.

    I have developed a work around beam out. Visit my foundry "PlayerHousingProject Velocitore" mission ID# ST-HKR5J9LVE
    I explain in depth what to do, talk to the Training officer.

    You CAN have a pop-up to mask the despawn and also you can beam in a contact/group off-screen to create the sound effect of transport.
