Which ship would you fly as a kdf sci?

But yeah, pretty self explanatory, with all the options/flexibility the feds have with t6 and intel, i'd have to ask you the question, which ship could you see yourself using now in pvp that would still keep you equally if not more competitive with your fed sci foes.
Personally i'm still running the wells, but as you all may have seen the fed's sci ship is getting yet another addition with sensor analysis AND a secondary deflector (May be a sign of things to come).
Back to the OP, which persistent ship would you fly on a kdf/rom kdf.

I'm liking the big slow whale strangely. I gotta see how bad the pet nerf is now.
The carrier has the nasty pets that spam beta and is darn near indestructible. The cruiser has sensor analysis or scan (whichever one is on the ship) and 8 weapons and is also very tough. Both have 3 tac consoles but almost no tac seating.
In short, both can serve as full science ships in every way except for being 1 sci console short of the pure ships, and both have advantages that offset this disadvantage (pets or weapons and general durability). I have a free DSD as well but I don't care for it. If I had the cstore version (have to think about which one) it would be a good pick, the freebie is a little lackluster.
As a KDF (not rom) it would be a choice from many, including the above or other lockbox and lobi offerings...
just looking at them on paper...
varanus: no-go. 4 sci consoles and not as good as the ships I listed above which also have 4.
fleet VQ : like the recluse, but not quite as good (recluse pets better, cmdr uni better), also a no-go
a BOP MIGHT make a 'decent' hybrid 3 sci console flanking gunship with sci BO as you see fit. But 3 sci consoles won't make a TBR or GW death build; you would rely on your guns for at least 1/2 your dps. The cloaked torp boat b'rel is of course a standby for that idea as well.
in short, I would probably use a box or lobi ship for both kdf or rom. Both could use a C-store DSD T5U and do well --- the exotic damage bonus of that ship is a very nice feature. The rom have the haanom too, which I did not like but its a fine sci ship. So pretty much, DSD or alien ships are the options.

Leetas face is more symmetrical.
Dw boys, more important things to think about.
Only usefull sci is a KDF alligned rom in the faeth

I have to agree. I love my kdf science in a b'rel and DSD, and don't forget the t5u fleet kar'fi with elite interceptors. Quick deployment scales with aux power and you can spit out intercepters crazy fast.
Well tbh m8 sto is unpvp friendly mayb worth lookjng at other games until star citizen ie eve,elite dangerous or somit im playin tanks at present its good also
