Ive been playing STO since 2012. How long do I play to get the Capt. Yacht? And if I am eligible then where do I get it? Where can I look to see how long I've been playing?

You have to be a gold member (subscriber) for 400 days to be eligible to claim the Captain's Yacht from a Ship Requisition Officer/Console

Or purchase an LTS, at which point you have access to it immediately.

It doesn't come with any special perks or consoles, its just a playable small craft. The notoriety here is that it is unavailable for purchase. It can only be awarded by the 400 day or Lifer account status. That said, the BO layout is actually inferior to say, the Delta Flyer. I think its the Delta that has two BO stations. I could be wrong, I'm posting from my phone. Personally I find myself using the Yellowstone or Type10 more than my Yacht.

It does have a built in Emergency Power to Shields with a 2 min cooldown, but that's it. It's mostly there for having it.

I forget what ship it goes with (don't hate me), but it would normally launch like the aeroshuttle on the new Pathfinder.

No. It performs about the same as a standard Danube Runabout. Nothing special.

The advantage of the veteran shuttle is that it's a reward for all 3 factions. Each faction has it's specific vet shuttle that's unlocked across all characters. It's performance may be nothing to write home about but it's also on par with every other shuttle with only 1 boff and except for the fed only delta and vulcan shuttle (with fixed 2 sci boffs) all the other 2boff shuttles are all lobi purchases for only 1 character.

It's definitely not worth to subscribe for 400 days just to get the shuttles but if you're already at that point or a LTS it's a nice trinket.
