Current State of Stacking (Superior) Romulan Operatives

I did a search on stacking of Romulan Superior Romulan Operatives and I am getting conflicting results on whether or not they stack. Either they were nerfed or they weren't, so you can understand how confused I am.

So now I am asking, if I buy Romulan Superior Operatives off the exchange, will the crits stack?
If I have a combination of Romulan Operatives and Superior Operatives, will the crits stack as well?

Currently I have:
Science - Romulan operative
Tactical - Romulan operative

I have a Tactical SRO, and either a Tactical SRO or Science SRO, and a Science Hierarchy Efficient boff to add to my roster

Yes, they stack, with no diminishing returns. Almost all Space Traits stack, the only one that doesn't is Infiltrator (Increases duration of Cloak Ambush, would be quite OP).

As it is, stacking superior operative boffs is one of the few perks Romulans can have. Stack as many as you can afford. My whole bridge crew has superior op and superior subterfuge, and my ship doesn't even have a cloak anymore.
Sardak (Science Officer): Captain of a 23k DPS R'Mor Temporal Science Vessel, R.R.W. Vathos
Odan Brota (Science Officer): Captain of a 28k DPS Scryer Intel Science Vessel, U.S.S. Kepler

I just stack as many space-trait boffs as I can, it's dead useful.

My Scimitard has like +15% base critical hit chance. XD

    Thanks everyone! Now I have:

    2 Engineer SRO
    1 Science SRO
    1 Tactical RO (Tovan)
    1 Tactical (not RO/SRO)

Only a few weeks until I can unlock Romulan Plasma DHCs

    Operative stacks.

    Subterfuge doesn't stack.

Infiltrator stacks but not quite what you think.
    - Same quality Infiltrator for decloak dmg bonus timer does NOT stack.
    - Different quality Infiltrator for decloak dmg bonus timer DOES stack.

My Reman Sci, who comes with regular Infiltrator trait can stack that bonus with another Reman BOFF with Superior Infiltrator. I can have her Warbird with a decloak dmg bonus timer of 23 seconds with cloaks being ready to turn back on as low as about 9 seconds (depending on SRO's loaded).

On my Romulan toons, if I tried to use 2 Remans both with Superior Infiltrator or both with regular Infiltrator, the timer bonus does not stack.

I'm 99% sure your Reman captains infiltrator bonus is stacking with the superior infiltrator from the boff, and not with the other boff.

I have several reman captains with a single Reman boff with Superior Infiltrator that have the 23 secs ambush decloak damage bonus.

It's not crazy at all and the money thrown for Rom BOFFs with SRO is money very well spent. Consider what SRO brings to the table:

    +2% Crit Hit
    +5% Crit Severity
+15% Power Recharge Speed for Cloaking

That's per BOFF with the trait and each stacks. This applies to whatever weapon type the player outfits on the ship. Disruptor, Phaser, Plasma, any energy weapon, any torpedo, any mine. ALL weapons. And you can have typically 5 of these BOFFs on a single ship, active.

What does a Spire TAC Console get you for the cost in Fleet Credits and Dil?:
Exploiter and Locator give a strength dmg boost. Other than that, they either:
    - Exploiter gives +8% Crit Severity
    - Locator gives +1.6% Crit Hit

What do the following cost for their crit related performance in resources?
    - Assimilated Console?
    - Tachyokinetic Converter?
    - Zero Point Console?
    - Bioneural Infusion Circuits Console?

If you're profiting, great, but a few million on SRO, Sup.Infiltrator for a Rom/Reman player goes a long, long way and are, for most builds, useful in any scenario. 4 million ain't **** towards getting a full Warbird outfitted with 5 BOFFs with SRO that in total brings:
    +10% Crit Hit
    +25% Crit Severity
    +75% cloaking cooldown reduction

And that's BEFORE you start throwing in equipment bonuses.

    Operative stacks.

    Subterfuge doesn't stack.

The defense part of subterfuge actually stacks.

You are all correct, except that the cloak cd reduction stacks multiplicatively. Nevertheless, this is still enough to get a permanent uptime of the ambush bonus if you have a sup infiltrator boff.

Many people see that the SRO trait is a major (possibly even the biggest) balancing issue between the factions.

However, the bonus is a lot larger than only a huge crth/crtd bonus, every boffs contributs to a huge defense bonus in addition to a permanent ambush uptime.

Since we are pointing out this issue since LoR launch, it would be nice to finally see a dev respone here.

I for myself am convinced that Cryptic is aware and has a perfect opportunity to correct this issue creating new powerful intel boffs which can be purchased in a delta quadrant outpost fleet holding.

EDIT. just to point out, i play both, rom and non-rom toons. And i do not say that all romulan disadvantages can be neglected. For example the romulan counterpart to the eclipse/qib, the Aelahl does not have lt cdr or cdr intel stations.
