I have noticed that to maxmise my potential on both ground and space i have to continuously swap out all my captain traits. This means repeatedly trawling through deselecting and then reselecting through the list.
Please Cryptic could you implement a couple of captain trait prefix or loadouts, like for starships so we can just swap between ground and space?

I know right !?
It's gotta be the most tiring excercise in STO. Switching from ground to space and vice versa.
They REALLY need presets for space and ground.
Also dont forget you have to engage your specilization skills for ground and space.
I support this suggestion. I've grown tired of constantly switching between the traits and now just have one captain for the ground and the rest do space.
i would assume that its all one to make a player decide if they would specialize in space or ground combat or a balanced setup. But that doesnt work when your allowed to respec at will. Im sure its not really intended for people to efectively use 18 slots because of changing traits between ground and space.
But as it is that way it would be easiest to just turn it into 2 separate sections of slots, 1 ground traits and 1 space traits, would remove the need to respec all the time or even have to swap presets.
To be honest i aslo think it would be better to have both a space and ground choice in the new specializations as u can change at will anyways.
these couple things wouldnt change the game at all and would take some of the frustration out of mundane tasks.

+1 for this, it'd really make life so much easier. Heck, I'd even pay if I could get more than 2 options. Some of the ground combat missions require other set ups than others, and when it comes to space there is quite a bit of difference whether I fly a sci ship with gravity wells or an escort with dual heavy cannons.
While we're on it, I would also like to see the starship mastery traits and the reputation traits tied into this.
