slow login if at all

am i the only one with endless ( very slow ) launcher start-up ?

also disconnects after i try to load in my character from the selector screen after a fairly long loading attempt

    same here after the patch i cant connect. either it says cannot connect to account server, Or disconnects directly after loading the login screen and returns me to the ingame login screen. loggin in there also just says connection timed out and cannot connect.

    (if it logs in) mostly im stuck in the launcher atm...)

    even last week maintenance the same problem! Can not log in and/or if logged, the Game is still unplayable cause endless lags... destination germany

    Same here. It's an issue that plagues Neverwinter too not just STO.

    Getting the same here in the UK.

    Patches fine and loads the launcher ok but then the game can't connect to any server when it loads.

    also EU based here, and most friends from my EU list cannot log in.. all US players can...

    eh, thats explain why we dont have 500 comments per sec about not being able to login

    yeah thats why it wont get fixed until next week probably, trying to log in now for 3 hours... and cant get into the game.. well there goes my mirror universe shotgun... only needed today -.-

    i hate that there is zero response whatsoever. on FB as well as on twitter

    EU here too. Can't connect, and my mirror event is in the sink, I started late, and had to skip a day anyway. Support sucks big time too.

    They really need to un**** the servers, especially if they are plugging lifetime subs again.

    nah its as always , as long as not the majority of the US players recognizes a problem its not there. like the MAC user problem....


    anyways i have now over teamspeak confirmed with fleet mates and friends.
    its German,Austrian and UK players currently, any other EU countries yet where you cannot log in?

    i filed support tickets. posted on their FB and made a twitter (which somehow got deleted)

    im sure they know, but im not sure its on their priority list. most of the guys and gals where on their last day in mirror invasion so if this will keep until next week it will hit hard...

    Yep, I am in Hungary

    edit: NEXT WEEK??? If it keeps up till next week, I'll just uninstall and never look back again. Don't care about the money.

    so Hungary and France also confirmed... great... -.- i love it how when a simple thing like oh you can pet your solane tribble more than once per hour to get 1 mark... it gets an emergency fix in 50 minutes after the launch...

    of all EU based players cannot play? .. let's not do anything or when we do we do not communicate it. as in .. who cares.

    so to sum up, Germany, Hungary, France, Austria, and Great Britian. all cannot connect?

    Im just North of San Fran here in California and I have been disconnected a total of 57 times in the last 3 days and only started playing this game on the 26th Oct. What the heck! No other MMO's I play have this kind of problem?

    Ever since last week I've had problems connecting and staying logged in for a long time. The weekend was worse, has many was affected too but whatever they did to fix it I'm still having issues.

    Trouble logging in, time outs, server not responding... I just did MU event, filled my Reputation projects and R&D and just log out and even doing all that, barely.

    P.S.: I'm from Europe.

    Cant log in either - UK here.

    Between this and the login problems last Saturday night, I'll be lucky to finish the Mirror Event in time - no way of extending it by a couple of days to allow for these..?

    dunno if something changed but first time successful login after maintenance
    - good login speed
    - no in-game latency

    hopefully its stays that way

    I have had fewer login issues (server unavailabe, login timeout, etc.) since I stopped using ARC as a launcher... :cool:

    I have the same issues I'm seeing in here my tracert to the patchserver seems good but I can't get anything with the nettest.exe it times out without giving any info. and the only thing that helps is if I set the proxy to EU and I'm even starting to have a bit more issue with the launcher it will sometimes even freeze up while loading to even logging in with it. and with the proxy set once I get in game I can play with more normal behavoir but without the proxy I'm lucky to get into the game at all and when I do not everything loads before I get dropped to the login anyway.
