any free combat pet for FEDs?

hi admins,

is there a way to craft the combat pet horta from episode "Mine Enemy" anymore after the overhaul of crafting system? :(
I know the KDF got their free non consumable combat pet mastiff in early game. it would be nice for FEDs to get their own free non consumable combat pet too. :(

    yes, it's a doff mission now, but you can still get it. You still have to collect the parts as before, but now you "use" the recipe item to start a doff mission to upgrade the mini-Horta.
