Ionic Turbulence

Using aux to battery with Ionic Turbulence appears to have 50% up time on the ability. I was testing with a fleet mate yesterday and spent half the match disabled and or rocking. Seems like there should be some sort of immunity and/or reduced affect to keep it in balance. 2 ships spamming it would essentially mean you are a helpless target the entire match.

The balance to these abilities has always been to use a cleanse. AFAIK, all CC abilities have a corresponding cleanse ability. It's just a matter of finding what it is. Since IT is kind of a "space TRIBBLE" ability, I'd try using Hazard Emitters.

Most abilities are disabled. HE can not be enabled. I heard intelligence team may clear it but you will have to use a T6 to have that... I am still T5-U. Are we required to get T6 to pvp now?

There's no counter besides moving out of the cloud.

    In before "LOL I'm disabled".

    That's all there is.

If you find yourself stuck in the cloud a little too frequently, get the Pilot specialization perk "Reckless Abandon." This will upgrade your evasive maneuvers to be immune to movement debuffs for 2 sec, which is just enough to clear the cloud - once you're clear, use haz emitters to remove the DoT.

    Pow, ionic turbulence countered.

I thought Intelligence Team was supposed to clear Intel debuffs and the like.

Just the expose from the Gather Intel ability from pure Intel Ships.

And there shouldn't be any dot that can be cleared or not from Ionic Turbulence. If there is that's super weird.

    And sorta sad.:(

    That is disappointing.
