Tac Officer Cruiser VS Eng Officer Cruiser, Who Would Be More Likely To Win?

I am pretty sure than Tactical Officers can be more effective in a cruiser compared to an Eng Officer being in an escort.

Does anyone here have Tac Officer classes and also use Cruisers for PVP?

Would a Tac Officer Cruiser have a good chance against a Eng Officer Cruiser or would the Eng have major advantages? Or would it depend on the players skill/what ship and build they are using?

    It would depend on their respective builds i suppose... and if they both had the same gear... but if a tact had all crth and crtd consoles against a eng who used all neutroniums... it would be a stale mate... if however the eng had crtd and crth consoles the tact would win imo.

    If a cruiser vs. another cruiser make one-on-one, the class is unimportant. If there is no draw, one of the players is really stupid and/or really bad.

    This is like debates about what's the 'best' modern tank. The answer is 'whichever one has the better crew in charge of it'. Everything else is people brawling over minutae that don't actually end up mattering too much. Your build and how you handle the ship are going to matter the most in this kind of matchup.

    Ihad battle like that i was tac galX dready t5u he was eng ody t5u.

    My build was ap 61% hull damage ress all stuff mk14 all kinds of regens traits and starship traits for more healing and ever more healing i was able to outtank his damage when he was not mine he was able to kill me 1 time in 6 matches using ground specialisation trait that teleports teams with explosives to my ship and doing kinetic damage baypasing shields +raam speed some weird heavy hiting new torpedo +phasers +photonic ship and he got winning point.
