    lol serious?

I'M RICH!!!!!!!!!!!! i got hundreds of Argonite gas, dont even know what its for, it sure as hell isn't for superior beam, cannon or engineering tech upgrades (lvl 15 in those 3 schools) so I've just been sitting on them, but this makes a good case for cashing in! :D

Yes, Viscous cycle is dead. Same with the Craylon gas from Rhiho station. Though I guess 20 people are able to complete that?

But it's more important to focus on carrier pets because they aren't 10 times weaker than they were on Oct 13.

I quite enjoyed both those missions as well. Two of my favorites - gone.

My guess is that most of the stubbornness on these issues is that someone's pet project was to make and sell the R&D packs and their sales are nowhere near what they projected.

There is good supply on both items.

Yes Deuterium is dirt cheap cause Bug hunt is stupid easy.

    Crylon is down under 200k.

The only purple that has retained a high value is Argo... but I hate to break it to you guys 80% of all crafting mats come from R&D boxes form zen stores and lock boxes. lol

Argo is high because if you where to sit down and open 50 R&D boxes right now you would have 30-40 of all the purples accept for Argo of which you would have 5-10. For what ever reason its drop rate is lower the the other purples from the R&D box... likely a screwed up table... which is at least 50% responsible for the price of argo (which is used for torp tech)... really it should be around 350 like plecton just above Radios. ;)

    And now you know.

Actually I think more and more people are finding this to be the new ISE of ground now that everyone realizes how easy the Elachi are to mow down even in Elite if you have mostly TR-116's in your team. I've been pug farming that mission with very high success rate as a SCI! But since more and more people are figuring that out it seems the price of craylon is going down, at least it was a nice boost selling the stuff. Like one of the players sig around here says, even in the hardest times, someone always makes a profit! Just gotta be cunning and fearless of occasional failures.

Edit: LOL, it's the siig above my post here :P

Well, that's interesting. I'll try it again. I gave up after 4 or 5 goes that first week. We missed by 1 second the last time I tried. Seemed like the best group I would ever find so I wrote it off.

Most pug groups I am in tend to have like 3 TR-116's, so they seem to be regulars mostly that pug there, and the strategy is simple, ensure the team splits in phase two in opposite directions to rescue the engineers as quickly as possible, and also trait yourself to pure offense and wipe the elachi before they know what hit them, they are extremely frail without shielding against TR-116's. And if memory serves, failing to get the device attached to the core in the final phase results in failure, so head straight for it and grab it soon as you can! I am not sure, but it may be the case. My pugs tend to win.

I'll definitely get back in there today. My engineer caitian is quite strong on the ground and has the rifle.

If there would be a ground mission that would provide argonite prices would drop quite rapidly.

The thing is ground missions are a lot easier on elite then space are, since they didn't get the gecko touch and dps tards don't care about ground.

Ha, the group rescued 3 prisoners - that's how many I rescued also. Guess I'll wait another few weeks to try again.

Mines are good, TR and a melee weapon are a good setup for this... anything that bypasses shields. Romulan toons have the best chance of success due to their rebreather masks.. too bad queue rewards still suck or else I'd run this more often :D

Yeah I use the mines and the rifle. Sadly I have to rescue at least 5 scientists myself and I can't do that. I would say 4 is the best I can do. I guess it only wastes a couple minutes to fail, but it's sad and tiresome to me.

Ya pugging it is hit or miss... mostly miss nowadays >.<

If you go in with one or two people that know what's up then it's usually a sure thing.
