Does the GIVE YOUR ALL trait show in tooltip

Hi i just hit 15 in engineering research and added the GIVE YOUR ALL trait. Just wanted to know if anyone can actually see the proc on the tooltip on the power tray when you hover the mouse over it? or am i to trust that its actually happening? thanks in advance guys.

I believe that's the bonus defense and resist when using Engineering Boff skill. Yes it works just look at your ship stats as you use it and you will see the numbers go up. It's stackin and working fine.

The level 15 Eng trait has been bugged since day one and does not work. If you read the trait tooltip (and then verify by putting a torp on your ship, going into a combat area and reading the 10% shield penetration on the torp) you can confirm that the level 15 Eng trait actually gives Kinetic Precision, which is the level 15 Projectile school trait.

Ye age olde bug report thread

Hopefully one day before the next set of R&D schools, it will work proper.

DRATS!!!!! :eek::eek: you are right! thanks for directing me to that bug thread. It shows me exactly what you pointed out 10 percent shield penetration on the torp. power trays don't shows the 20 defense or something that GIVER YOUR ALL is supposed to give

Are we sure that it ACTUALLY gives the 10% shield penetration to torps or is that just a tooltip typo? Because I can assure you that if I use an Engi Boff skill my defense and resist goes up on my ship...unless there is a ship trait that's also doing it.

Looks like I also had Battle Ready ship trait slotted and I think it was that, that was giving me the defense and resist bonus. Will test and check tomorrow.

It is indeed broken... No changes to damage resistance when activated and no additional buffs appearing either...

When slotted, Torps have a 10% shield bleed through however...

I've logged a bug report some time ago and have been hoping it would be fixed... I specifically chose Engineering on all of my characters R&D specifically for this trait, so it's a little frustrating...

if you slot it with the torp trait, do you get double the pen buff? that seems like an OP benefit to the player and requires an emergency patch.

Not sure, I think I'm less than a week from my first level 15 Torp R&D skill, so have not been able to check this, but the same thought had crossed my mind...

Given it's the same buff, I was thinking not however...
