seriously guys i was looking forward to delta but you have seriously spoiled the game.
I play a lot of pve's and wasnt too shoddy averaging between 13-18k dps in my souped up jem
there was those who were doing far more but few and far between was lucky if i played in same team in a week.
To improve my gameplay i constantly log my dps and tweak the weaponry and consoles.
since the updates.
Accuracy has dropped
Dps has dropped.
Damage ratios in some PVE's is way over 50% this is to the point of ridiculous as many other players have probably stated.
Yes there are a few heavy players out there with awesome gear , the right skills and major dps
then theres the average players then theres the ones that need a little help putting it politely
for example a jem doing a mere 2k dps. now in the last advance khit there was around 45 million damage - i could take on all cubes before and only clock up 8-9 mil with the rest making up approximatley 10 mil
in all the stfs i play based on the borg side a average player was between 6-8k dps based on that the easy is too easy and the advanced is a massacre ..lol these folks cant even complete a fleet alert.
regarding the borg i have over 74k omega marks over 1 -1/2 years so u see i play these a heck of a lot and used them as a guide to work on my skills and dps.
you are going to drive players away , how is a new player going to progress they are gonna get driven off even before they invest.
you should have fixed the hive as thats never worked properly and left everything as it was then added a new elite level and adjusted the rewards accordingly. had the t6 ships with the extra console slot and abilities and added the elite levels so then players could work themselves upto new challenges.
At the moment its like your back to pug level cant do anything and have to pay out to get back to how you was.
on the delta side maybe you should have got some of the awesome foundry high rated guys and gals in to do some stories patrol missions get a lil boring and as for the the poopy gun at the end ..lol
new stfs - korfez - awesome although not completed - disconnected - not too bad - bug hunt - fun
but seriously sort it out - its supposed to be a game and game = fun many people are not having fun as unable to do the stuff they did.
heres a example - a guy saw us having fun in a stf and asked for help , we gave him advice and he improved his gameplay - then he bought ships from the store and boxes to try and get the prize ships and became a gold lifetime member ..
and im still annoyed that u announced delta 48 hrs after i bought me scim set grr lol
oh and that starbase 24 put a easier level on and leave the current as advanced - was a slog ..but fun
oh and added a extra section called "pummel the annoying talaxians"

little scis could do thier bit in the team by holding stuff up in infected allowing the team to take the gen down and so forth
As for PVP players i have been to kerrat and a lot of them are awesome - seen some excellent battles there.
as for the current pvp and pve at this precise moment the battle is who has the bigger credit card
this is not a reflection on thier skills as said before i seen a jem only doing 2k+ dps damage
ships may help those with skills it wont help those with stupidity
and all being equal i want the same hull as donatra on me scim and a thalaron pulse that actually does something hehe.
i also think one of the devs who did tuvoks mission was taking the mickey with "descaling herrings " and recouple the decoupler
Better start getting used to it, they LOVE revamping stuff 10 times over rather than introduce new stuff.
Funniest thing ever: The whole game got revamped 10 times over, except when it came down to PvP LOL

Reminds me of those episodes in TNG, when the Enterprise is falling apart, and they can't figure it out because systems that have nothing to do with each other keep failing.
Missing batteries (and assorted other unslotted/misplaced items) in the loadout systems appear to be regression bugs. Which means they used some (very) old code again for this or that. Mess ensues.
'Above all do no harm!' should be the Nr. 1 credo of every programmer! Not at Cryptic, though.
I cannot tell you how right you are with your posting. Current conditions in game give me the option to play with perhaps 5% of the players I know without the feeling of wasted time. And even they are so heavily demoralized that Im very concerned about STO.
