Upgrading - current list of known safe Fleet consoles?

I'm most interested in the vulnerability locator and enhanced neutronium consoles, but having current lists of known-safe and known-bugged consoles would be great.

    Both of those definitely upgrade without problems, as do Fleet weapons. Embassy consoles work, though they get funny name changes, seemingly at random.
    My warp core upgraded, but if I was you I'd seriously take a look at the stats in the upgrade box before you do so, it's really not worth upgrading a WC imo. Wish I hadn't bothered.

    I don't have such a list, but Tribble is available for testing on - copy your character to there, upgrade stuff.

    If it works, repeat on Holodeck - stuff pretty much goes live as is between the two so if it works fine on Tribble it works fine on Holodeck.


    If it doesn't, submit as a bug report, and be glad you only wasted Tribble resources and not your real Holodeck resources.

    FYI, there is a thread in bug reports saying the fleet embassy consoles are not safe to upgrade. In fact, just adding them to the Upgrade window and then canceling will strip them of some features!
