Romulan Klingon/Federation uniform bug on boffs

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet. Did some searching and couldn't find any threads on this.

I unlocked both the Romulan Klingon and Romulan Federation uniform sets a little while ago during the event, and now they're not available for new boffs. I can still select them for all my old boffs and captain.

are you getting new boffs off exchange? you're probably getting the wrong faction ones then.

it's a well known bug, the boffs don't adapt their allegiance to your character's when they join your crew, which locks them out from not only your side's outfits, but also their old one's since you're locked out from them for being on the wrong side.

there's no way to tell which one is which until after purchase and making them join you.
Now clowns, that's another story. They scare the crap out of me.
We fight them too. Entire armies spilling out of Volkswagens.
We do our best to fight them off, but they keep sending them in.

Yes, I got Romulan boffs off the exchange for my KDF-aligned Rommy. Also bought one for my fed-aligned Rommie. So you're saying these Boff candidates have a faction alignment based on the captain who originally got them, and if I'd bought them with captains of the opposite faction they'd be fine? That sucks. :( So where DO you get boffs with SRO trait?

This might be a bigger issue actually. I created a new Romulan character today and neither the Roumulan Republic nor the Romulan Federation uniforms are available to me or my bridge officers. I'm currently having the client Force Verify files to see if it fixes the issue, but I have a feeling it might not. I'll let you know if it works.

Well, I'm glad to be wrong. The Force Verify did fix the issue. You might want to try it as well - maybe it will fix the issue with your bridge officers.

Thanks for that input, I will certainly try that and post the results.

Edit: well, after trying a force verify it does not seem to have worked. I still do not have those uniforms available.

So it appears this is not just a boff issue. I made a new KDF-aligned Romulan and it also does not have access to the Romulan Klingon uniforms.

So since today's patch, I've tested and confirmed that most of what was broken with these uniforms is fixed again, with the only bug remaining what was mentioned by arrmateys up in post #2.

One interesting thing, the Romulan Klingon pants are no longer under "Tight", and now have their own "Knee height" category. So if you go to change the uniform and see the pants missing, don't panic, just find them in the new location. The Romulan Federation pants are still under "Tight".
