MACO Shield upgrade - no improvement

Hello all

Trying to understand something. I have upgraded my purple adapted maco shield to mark 14. The stats for the shield have not changed at all. Is this a bug or by design?

    I'm guessing some sort of bug. Mine increased capacity by about 1300 and regen by about 30 at Mk XIV from stats at Mk XII

    Nice - wish mine did that. I really hope that they fix it for me

    my stats are 7588.4 for shield capacity and 135.5 for shield regen

    Anyone have any thoughts? Did I do something wrong that it did not work? I sure spend a lot of resources to accomplish. I will say that if it don't get fix I am not spending any ZEN ever again in the game. Its unfair to spend that much and not have the correct results.

    its a known bug, heard quite a few ppl complain about this item in particular

    Well at least I'm not the only one - thanks for the feedback. I will keep an eye on the release notes in the hopes that one will contain a fix for this.

    Thought I would update - the latest patch has not fixed the issue. And yes did check in sector space :)

    Wanted to bring this back up and state that still this has not been fixed. My shields stats are exactly the same as what is available for the mark 12 version in the omega reputation. Why are they not fixing this, it was a lot of resources to upgrade to a mark 14.

    I have the same bug on the Klingon version of this.

    From what I've heard we are SOL - lot of that going around.

    Basically that anything that bugs out being upgraded will never be fixed.

    First of all, make sure you check in space, not sector space. There is a difference... check while in orbit around ESD, before jumping to sector space. :)

    Second of all, have you reported this in the bug reports thread?

    Im gland and NOT glad that I'm not the only one - sorry to hear that.

    Well looks like I won't be investing much into this game anymore.
