Mastery Point Deduction... Really?

aspartan1aspartan1 Member Posts: 1,054 Arc User
I'm astonished..... I just finished a daily mission in Japori and I lost thousands of Mastery points from my Xindi escort. I'm doing it on Advanced since I cant waste so much time on Elite with those one million point HP bags.....

I've played this game on elite from day one but decided to stop using it today because of the pure tooth pulling without any painkiller experience it inflicts. Now I'm losing points I got on elite or is something broken?
If you are looking for an excellent PvE fleet consider: Omega Combat Division today.

Next time do yourself a favor and READ THE FORUM before you post. This is old news.
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

Nothing is broken, au contraire my friend, it has been fixed!

See...you did not know it, but you are an evil exploiter getting your ill gotten XP gains on elite.

You are supposed to be getting 300-400 XP off of those million hp hulls instead of the 1200-1300 previously.

Fortunately the geniuses at PWE have fixed this horrible loophole.

All your evil gains have been confiscated....so you can have more FUN.

People lost mastery points when devs "fixed" the XP issue. Again, old news. I heard a few issues from fleet buddies, like lost EC (old bug) and whatnot. None of this suprises me.

Maybe you should READ YOURSELF first?! He isn't talking about Specialization points, but about ship Mastery points!

And the patch notes very specifically promised NO Mastery points would be taken away. Like ever.

I haven't done DR and I'm going by what my fleeties have told me. You didn't read my above post.

Anyway, a TON of issues have been caused by PWE ignoring feedback from testing and lack of communication. So if anything random, important, or gamebreaking comes up...well, I simply believe it. It isn't like PWE gives a **** about player experience or the quality of their product.

Umm..... This JUST happened ergo the post...

Furthermore, I earned the points today - ALL of them and decided to run Japari to do the daily and they went away.

Bonus: I did not lose points as a result the punishment of players for doing something we told them about nearly two months ago!!!

Why would respecking my toon affect the points I earn on my ship?
Simply put each time I ran an instance of Japari I lost around 1,000 Ship Mastery skill points.

Settledown? We clearly have a very different understanding of when to use that word partnership.

Nonetheless, the issues seems to have gone away. I logged in and things appear to have been magically resolved.

Really cant expect much on these forums. The Apologists are taking advantage of the weekend without moderation to troll everyone that has an issue. Just ignore them. Its quite pathetic to watch them scramble to the defense of a company that could careless about them.
