Dilithium rep projects now hourly?

nervehammer1004nervehammer1004 Member Posts: 38 Arc User
Hi All,
Since it's Dilithium weekend I was set to turn in all my marks in exchange for dilithium. Unfortunately the old 50 marks/500 dilithium mission that took 15 seconds is gone and in it's place is a new 15 marks/500 dilithium mission that takes an hour to complete.

Has anyone else noticed this? When did that happen? Am I just not looking in the right place? I'm not raging, just curious as I frequently read the patch release notes and didn't notice anything about those rep projects being replaced.

Thanks!

I haven't checked it myself yet, but i think the project you're looking for is at the Upgrades tab. The hourly thing is the normal hourly Xp project that turns into what you're talking about, after you've done a certain number a day, or maxed out your reputation.

You can do both now. The 15 second one is on the bottom in the upgrades tab of your rep projects.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then - before you can blink an eye - suddenly it threatens to start all over again."

"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."

Great! I was beginning to think there was no way I could get all the marks turned in.

    Thanks!

No idea what you're talking about, ran several marks ro dil projects this morning before work on a couple of toons and converted about a thousand marks each to dill on each of them using the normal 50->500 project that gives out 750 while dil weekend is running. Are you sure you're slotting the right project?

i did some last night about 18hrs ago and it was fine 500 dil for 50 marks but actually got 750 dil cos of the bonus.

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

I would urge restraint on those converting ALL their marks to dil.

With currently gameplay clusterf---er.... hum... "changes," you may not be able to remake your 5000 marks that you convert. If you EVER want to get anything from your particular rep of choice, I urge you all to keep a rainy day fund of marks equivalent to that. If you conver it ALL, you may have dil but won't be able to get that console, or that set piece, etc, later.

Currently it's just too hard to earn back those marks like we used to.

No issue for me there, just been doing it with Omega marks on my Fed-Rom-Tac and Fed-Eng toons..... both of them have the Omega ground set, the Omega Space sat, the MACO ground set, the MACO space set, the Adapted MACO ground set, the Adapted MACO Space set, the Assimilated set and the Adapted set......I've got like nothing better to do with Omega marks on those toons than to either buy Omega rep consumables or convert them to dil. And frankly I've no interestin Omega consumables and the dil will benefit my equipment upgrading. Of which my Rom who just hit FA is also just about all decked out in MKXIV for space and I've just started workign on upgrades to ground.

^ Well yeah, f you have all you want then convert 'till dawn! Otherwise, it's not bad advice to "hoard" Marks.
