For two years science captains have patiently waited their turn for a sci ship to be rewarded off either the Winter or Summer event. Tac captains got their ships, engineers got their ships, it's time for a sci ship this year.
Heck, didn't even bother making a sci T6 ship for the lockbox or lobi store so I hope that changes next lockbox. I think the last time I saw a sci ship in the lockbox, it was the Wells (Great ship), and the last time I saw a lobi sci ship it was the Palisade (Still the best darn sci ship they have ever designed).

Speak for yourself. My sci captain prefers non-sci ships.

Besides...it was Warship (Destroyer), Corvette, Raider, and Cruiser if one were even trying to tie the Careers to the Ship Classes.
Will be curious to see if they go Vaadwaur for the Winter Event or stick to the Breen and the Vaadwaur's the next Lock Box...cause, you know. But I figure it will be in a box...the second box, like what happened with LoR.
Thank you, i would also like to be able to box one of those ships back up and give it to another one of my characters that could use it. Also, i hope they make so new content such as wearable instead of the same stuff as last year. Cryptic listening?

With the discounts they introduced during the Summer Event and if they continue that, you should only have to complete a single race for that ship on another character.

It'll probably be a carrier. Don't think i have seen Breen science ships as NPC.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I am not following and i didn't have the chance to play during the summer, to busy with work and vacations so i missed out.
Also, i want to say i wish they would make the Winter Event on Andoria as it is an unused area and i would like to see a different type of vessel other than a Breen vessel.

To clarify, you can't (and probably never will be able to) re-box a ship. However once you earn a ship with any character, it becomes an account wide unlock for one days worth of currency. So, the first chel'grett you earn costs 1,000 pictures of q. Once you buy it, every other character on your account can get their own for just 40 pictures.
Not the same thing as reboxing, but in some ways better because the first character still has theirs.

Well, going by tradition, a Breen Science Ship that specializes in Drains would fit the bill. To continue the awarding of Breen Ships with Winter Events.
The best thing about the Breen in DS9 were their Energy Dissipators.
The Breen specific gear ingame are *supposed* to be about Flow Caps. Never mind that the Absolute Zero set has a drain ability but the deflector gives an atrocious +8 or something to Flow Caps
Oh, and do this year's Winter Event in the Klingon prison/penal labor world of Rura Penthe. Losers freeze to death while Q laughs up above. Random players getting eaten up by packs of ravenous Jackal Mastiffs.

Ah, gotcha i didnt even realize that. But, i normally dont get the same ship to place on each character, i like a good variety. I dont see why they dont let us rebox them and transfer them, it makes ZERO sense. Even if you have to pay EC to do, so be it. I know why, they want people to do the gamble thing with the ship boxes. Talking about ship boxes, i have that ugly ship we got sometime ago. Why i cant i sell that on the exchange, to much restricting in this game is perhaps my biggest gripe.

That would also be another good location, but i also throwing in Andoria.
Heh, probably take the Sarr Theln and make it the Eng lovechild of a Narcine and a Kar'Fi.
Worries me, everything of recent date that has a Hangar has been Tac based...worried they will do that again.
Well then again I almost forgot about the Voth ships, but when was the last time they released something Sci heavy with a Hangar besides the Vesta? The Atrox...then back then the last time was pre f2p with the Kar'fi I imagine.
Doesn't bode well

Lol, I've complained about that set over and over, but the devs just leave it as the junk that it is.
Worst parts:
1) Three part bonus is a 2min CD copy of energy siphon 1 which is the absolute worst ability of all drains. Heck, I even prefer Tachyon Beam to it.
2) Why make the set a drain set and add a paltry +8 flow caps to it? How does that make sense? On the Jem'Hadar one they did do well, but the Breen set is horribly designed.

Binding is a powerful anti-inflation mechanic. Arguably the most powerful that doesn't involve taking anything away.
In theory:
It is a primary "problem" in games that over time players have more of everything because new players get left behind, and the economy can fall into a death spiral of inflation. Thus the need for various "sinks" to remove different forms of wealth from the player base.
By binding an item it is effectively "sunk" and removed from the economy. You have it and can use it, so there is less player frustration than if they deleted rewards from a mission, for example. But you can't spend it, and if you make a second character you need to earn another one. That drives up demand. Without demand eventually the economy is completely inflated to uselessness and veteran players are utterly bored while new players are utterly frustrated.
/end theory
In my opinion, bound ships works fine and keeps event ships a part of the event making them different and special compared to c-store or lockbox ships. If you could rebox event ships then the event would lose the biggest part of its appeal since they are the grand prize so to speak.
Also it makes a real value difference between the one-off ships and the c-store ships that encourages people to spend zen. If you want to have a ship you can ditch and use on someone else, then buy a zen ship, thats how they work. Having both character and account bound ships, I feel is a good thing for the game.
I don't really consider it Sci, it's one of the few ships where you can practically mold it to whatever you want...but I don't so many people not putting a Tac in that Cmdr spot as you would only have a Ens Tac without it.

I don't dare fly anything that isn't science heavy these days, crowd control is more important than ever to ensure any chance at all in Queues. So I really hope we get something science heavy, Delta Rising has just given science the greatest importance of all ship classes. They might not finish the job quickest but they can live and ensure things don't get out of hand with like billions of sphere flocking all around in say ISA or ISE (haven't dared the latter yet)

True enough, but it does have sub system targeting, which for me makes it a sci ship.
SA is really what makes a true Sci ship, the JH Dread and Xindi Dread both have SST as well.
They can't get commander science powers though (unless I'm misremembering their stats). Really with some of the ships what is and isn't a sci ship has gotten a bit muddy.
I hope it's a science ship. I don't want a Cruiser or some weak azz hybrid ship. I'm praying it's a science ship... It would be funny if the ship is a shuttle/Fighter this year....
The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

It hasn't been updated for Delta Rising, but here's a list some might find helpful regarding NPC vessels...
