The queres (sp) are impossible. I used to love Fleet Starbase Defense. I used to come home after a stressful day at work and blow up some Klingons or Borg, but now it is impossible, and it is no fun anymore. There are very little rewards and instead of elite or normal, it should say impossible. Guys, I just play because I want to blow off some steam after a stressful day at work, but I'm thinking that it is impossible because the difficulty is turnt way up. Guys you have to fix this or players like me will gravitate somewhere else. I'm a lifetime member and I spend about $50 every two weeks on zen. Now, you will lose my business and I suspect there are others out there like me that will go somewhere else to spend their free time.
There's a continuum for fun <<>> challenge. It's balanced too far into challenge now.

I look at the work required to get even one of my several characters - all of whom were reasonably top notch before Delta Rising - to having best eq, all crafting schools, etc., and... that's like a full time job to earn everything required to make that happen if I want to accomplish that within the next year. I have a full time job. STO is supposed to be what I do for fun. What it's becoming isn't fun.
All solo play past 50 gets the crazy scaling HP of delta quadrant enemies. Especially on advanced and expert.
Even on Normal. I ran Step Between Stars today to grab a Solanae part, and the Undine Dreads at the end had 954k hp EACH, while you're driving that badly-equipped DSD. On freaking normal. I think we're into double-facepalm territory at this point.
I agree that elite was too easy before. But now. Wow.
Its still easy, don't get me wrong. Nothing I've ran across so far has even come close to destroying me, but man. Even on regular story DR missions set to elite, it is BORING. I keep praying I run into a mission that doesn't end up in space combat, because everything takes freakin forever to kill. But nope, wave after wave of tedium.
