Hello Everyone,
I assume everyone here was around for the Launch of Legacy of Romulus and knows what an expansion launch day is like, but if not here the basic rundown. Well to be honest its like any other patch day except it takes longer and the server isn't guaranteed to turn back on...
So here are a few Tips to help speed up the proccess and make your day go faster and be more enjoyable.
I hope this Helps and Makes everyone's day go by smoothly.

So here are a few Tips to help speed up the proccess and make your day go faster and be more enjoyable.
- Patch Tribble Ahead of Time
- When Holodeck patches the game, the STO launcher is hardcoded to borrow files from your Tribble install whenever it can to cutdown on Bandwith.
- Currently Tribble is locked to Subscribers only so patching ahead of time may not be available to everyone.
- Make Copies of your Loadouts.
- The New Delta Rising Code branch is liable to messup loadouts, with the addition of all the Mk 13 and 14 Gear, and the renaming of some ships and equipment some may get mixed up or disapeer entirely. Just Resave your loadout, after making a slight change.
- You can always Make a Copy on the Skillplanner, http://www.stoacademy.com/tools/skillplanner/
- DON'T UPGRADE ANYTHING ON LAUNCH DAY!!!!!
- The Ship upgrade system still had a few bugs on tribble, that was causing ships to not get console slots, some would get to many console slots, and some ships lost their special universal consoles all together.
- Do not upgrade or even drop Higher end gear in the upgrade interface if you have even heard whispers of problems with the item.
- Some Items were losing a Mod, or dropping in quality or Rank so its best to wait a day or two.
- Think Long and Hard about which ships you want to upgrade and in which order.

- The Original "Fleet Patrol Escort" is getting a Special Upgrade, when you upgrade it to T5-u, it will become a "Fleet Patrol Escort Refit t5-u" with the Tempest Tail Gun... YAY!!!
- Play Surface Tension Ahead of Time,
- The Mission Surface Tension is required to unlock any misisons in the Delta Quadrant.
- Only Characters above Level 50 who have played this Mission will be alowed in to the quadrant
- Unless they release a special mission they havn't told us about
- Seems you can access the Spheres with T4 Diplomacy/Marauding, but you may not be able to play the misisons.
- Don't be Surprised if the Server goes Down and Doesn't come up again.
- Legacy of Romulus caused the server to go down and up and down for a total of around 14 hours before they finally got all the bugs Fixed.
- You may have to wait in line to Login
- If the Server Reaches Capacity the Server will automatically activate a Wait-List system
- This System will be first come first Serve, with Paid Subscribers being moved higher in the List.
- The Foundry Editor will probably be down for a few Weeks.
- This is normal don't freak out.
- During this Time the Editor will be updated with the new code branch and all missions will be re-published.
- When the Editor is reactivated, then the Review and Rating system will be disabled so authors can fix missions.
- If you find a Featured Episode that is broken alert the Author
- if you are the author contact Captain Smirk and he may be able to Un-Feature it so that you may fix it, and re-feature when you have completed your work, but this is at his discretion and not guaranteed.
- Report Bugs, but be civilized and Smart About it
- Visit the Bug Report Section that bes fits the Problem, Gameplay, Video, Audio,
- Read Through the First 5 Pages of Reports looking for a thread about your problem before starting a new thread.
- If you do make a Duplicate Thread, don't be surprised if its Moved, or you get a MOD point for not paying attention
- Be Very Concise and Detailed in your Report, include Screenshots if you can You can Host and Link Images from Imgur
- Try and Give Step by Step instructions on what you did to experience the issue and how it can be reproduced.
- Visit the Bug Report Section that bes fits the Problem, Gameplay, Video, Audio,

Also, you can get to the sphere via diplomacy/marauding without going through Surface Tension.
Finally, I believe that the launcher updates the tribble client before connecting, so I think that f2p people should be able to patch from tribble today.
Cool didn't know about the Diplomacy Thing. I only have one Character with T4 Diplomacy and he had already played Surface Tension. I'll include that in the Guide.
Question, can you play the Misisons in the Delta Quadrant thought, Since Surface Tension Cannot be Skipped? All my toons have played Surface Tension
They did hold back a few episodes on Tribble, and the introductory mission was one of them, we had a Mission called "escalation but it didn't include much.

Step 1 - Pour a good / high quality scotch into a lowball glass. Neat, not on the rocks.
Step 2 - Launch X-Com: Enemy Within.
I have no idea. My Romulan's just starting the missions in Cardassian space, so she's got a ways to go. If it is required, then hopefully it'll queue up for anyone who hasn't done it yet. Manually skipping everything in the Dominion, Borg and Breen arcs would be an enormous pain.
