How long does it normally take to sell your Master Keys?
In the past I would put 1 or 2 up and within an hour or two theyd be sold. But recently I decided to throw somewhere around 45mil EC worth of Keys on the Exchange in an attempt to generate money for my eventual UpgradeAThon. But I havent sold a single one in the last 48 hours. It may be random luck. And Im totally okay with that. But Im wondering if anyone else has noticed a drop in demand for the keys.

i think people are too busy playing to buy anything. I put a ship upgrade token on the market for 5,000EC cheaper than what they were going for and it still took 24 hours to sell.

if it take more than 30min you got them set to high or a lot of ppl have under cut your price and flooded the market
The funny thing is they are somewhere around the 2,200,000 mil mark. So they shouldnt be too expensive. If people undercut the price. Then Ill just have to pull them and simply hold out for a month or so. Not a big deal since I need to make it to level 60 to use any Mk XIV gear. Which is my goal.
The exchange in general is a mess of undercutters. Trying to sell more than about 5 will generally result in someone undercutting you after a couple of minutes.

ya i love it when ppl under cut to the point they sell it less than what a vender buys it for
That's why you have to pay attention and watch what's happening closely if you are trying to make instant sales.
You also have to decide what's the lowest you'll sell for if you get into an undercutting war. Sometimes the best option is to say "--ck it" and try again later.
Its Master Keys..Not some random console. The Master Keys typically stay in some general price range with a few high end prices and a few undercutters. But generally you can count on most of them leveling out at the same price.
Im more inclined to believe the reason behind the lack of sales has two reasons. People are more busy with the slightly more expensive Upgrade Tokens and the fact that the last few lockboxes have been lackluster. It would not surprise me that people are a bit fed up with the underwhelming Lockbox ships.
If you're selling Master Keys to a vendor, you're doing it wrong.
if you go and look at the exchange you will see lots of stuff being sold for less than what a vendor pays for it because of ppl trying to undercut the price of someone is what i was talking about you show IQ is not everything in this world
Master key sales have tanked in the past 4 days, but having said that I've stopped selling them except for a few.
The big movers are ship upgrade tokens, selling at a premium over key prices in equivalent ec,
My favourite remains busting open R&D boxes which have seen a return 2-3x what I was getting for keys easily. It is more of a TRIBBLE shoot due to random contents, but I've generated a good return consistently there for weeks. It's more labour, but thanks to Cryptics policy of gutting STF's with ridiculous difficulty increases, the R&D boxes are worth more than ever.
During the week when the key price was around the 2.0 mark I sold three keys and they went in seconds! I think at the time the delta boxes were still very new so people were opening them left right and centre but this may have slowed down some as I notice that after every launch when the new boxes start to hit the exchange and the price of the boxes plummet, the sale of keys slows somewhat.
A little side thing I do is that everyday I watch the current Dill > Zen rate and the cheapest price of keys, over the past few weeks leading up to and just after the DR release the cost of keys fell and the zen rate rose - as many of us would expect, but after the release the zen rate briefly spiked but lowered again but the cost of keys has more or less stayed the same. I would have expected them to drop slightly then start to steadily rise but that hasn't happened.
I've watched undercutters take the price down as low as 1.2 million. Which is why it's good advice to simply walk away and sell your keys later when the price has gone back above your absolute minimum.
You only lose when you get into an undercutting war. Most likely the guy doing the undercutting is the same guy that's gonna turn around and buy your keys for a fraction of what you wanted to get and resell them at a higher price.
Yeah, never engage in the undercutting war. The key to selling keys is patience.
Also, an undercutting war isn't always what's happening per se. Often ppl just want to quickly unload their batch, and then things return to normal again.

When I sell keys I'm shocked if they take more then 30 seconds to sell. My trick, I list them for about 100k less then the lowest price.
The odd occasions that I have sold keys I have never sold more than one at a time....... also yes I undercut if the price is still good, you only need to do it by 1 credit to get the key to the top of the list and I have never had a key on the exchange for longer than 30 seconds. That being said, I have not sold any keys recently.

Basically, post them too high and they'll sit there. And "too high" could be "lowest price" not 5 minutes ago.
Really whacked right now.
But here's my frequency, so hail me maybe?

They usually sell within about 10 minutes. Though now, since I'm generating a lot more ec; I've been buying at about the same price range.
