Dear Cryptic,
As of Delta Rising, I'm completely disgraced by the thought and actions that have gone into the updating of the tailor.
*removed due to the fact this won't get changed*
*below is my priority as this is truely vile*
First on my list is the gross and vile update to the swimsuits... two words... Camel Toe. its vile cryptic... absolutely vile. filth degrading filth, sexist filth.
I am doing my very best to keep playing, but as a tailor addict (someone who uses the tailor A lot) I find it difficult to grasp what the hell you just did to one of my favourite aspects of Star Trek Online.
I feel violated Cryptic, my biggest wish right now is for you to revert the tailor back to pre-delta rising, it maybe now impossible... but now is the case for me to even fathom playing the game with such disregard for any Women playing this game.
I am utterly disgraced.
Not so Much Kind Regards At All

*p.s. I am not un-aware that many like these new changes but, I do stand by my view that the body model has changed significantly and no matter what I do with the sliders I cannot get my desired *look*.
Most significantly is the leg model where no matter how much I decrease the Hip width I still end up with a gap so wide between my legs from high thighs to my knee, that Luke Skywalker could make an attack run in his X-Wing.
Comments
Before all the additional sliders, it was impossible to not make a sexualized female in some fashion, now we finally have more variety, and I'll be damned if Cryptic reverts to the old TRIBBLE (no offence) we had before. How about, instead of nitpicking on the sliders names, you go and try to play with the sliders, to get a desired character...?

I don't like these changes either tbh.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I haven't yet done the anatomical fine tuning that comes with the swim suit so I haven't seen the camel toe you mention in your post but equally I'm not making her for that 'feature' so I likely wont care about it either way but that's just me.
EDIT: Having now looked into any constructive anatomical fine tuning and found none to be done, I have still not come across this camel toe 'feature' so I can only assume it is the result of your use of sliders, that said as I try to get as close to a natural form as possible, it could be me.
So many haters in game...
*goes back to catering*
But I agree with the OP on the fact that the camel toe in the swimsuits are not a good adition.. to me its seems like an accident, but the camel toe is there.
This is from my trill character:
I try to change the sliders to min and maxs, the camel toe is still there with all the most swimsuits (not only bikinis).
Camel toe is there with all type of sliders.. no matter what you do. Like I said, its seems to be a "bug", but is there.

And also the T'pol outfit no longer matches between the top and bottoms... obvious line between and a slight gap betweem them. And yet there are forum users who like these changes?
Glitches will be fixed. Will take time, but I'm willing to wait for it, than to go to the horrible TRIBBLE we had before.

Isn't it ironic how sexism works?
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I see, I still don't have that issue though, that might have something to do with the cute pose my character uses, but my Betazoid doesn't have a thigh gap that wide.
See sliders:
(Section 1)
(Section 2)
See results:
(Cute)
(Standard)
All pictures were taken on max settings, although the last two were scaled up for ease of viewing.
I am now at my desk at work, laughing inappropriately.
I have also worked with the sliders to minimize these body effects, but I basically want a toggle bar set up to turn them off. The overall effect makes my altos and BOFs look too Barbie doll like, or occasionally like hentai in some outfits.
I would also like sliders to add love handles / muffin tops to make my team look more like actual Fleet. Also the arm muscles and calf muscles for FED / ROM don't slide enough to make commandos that look like actual people I knew. Just a thought for consideration.
The STO female model is modelled in certain way; which means, for us to be able to adjust certain parts, they had to add separate sliders, which aren't necessary on males. There's imo nothing intentionally 'sexualized' on the sliders' names, and they in fact, offer much more variety than before.
Ideally? I too wish the TRIBBLE were toggable thing on females, yes. As proper uniform can hide curves just nicely. But, for now, I like the direction the model is taking, it feels less rushed, and that we finally get the art team to make improvements on the females, as joejing himself said, before, all assets were made for males, and they then had barely any time to do them for females, which means we got crappier, less quality products on female characters. Does that TRIBBLE me off? Yes.
But, in my life, I learn to appreciate small things. This is a clear improvement, offering more varierty & I hope to see those improvements coming in the future, so the female model is more up to par with the quality of male one one day.
PS: To these "gamergurls", feeling violated - My physical sex female as well. Won't go into the whole, how I don't give a TRIBBLE about 'gender', as a societal construct here, anyhow.. So don't you even try to push some as if wannabe femainist TRIBBLE, especially when you don't even bother actually trying the new options we've got with the model improvements.
PPS: I was/am also one of the most vocal forumites screaming 'sexualization of females' and it's been my 'fight' in the last year. Before you shoot me down with some equally relevant argument.

I have actually tried to get my desired body shape... several times now. Hence why i decided to post my discontent on the forum.
I have nearly 200 outfits I am not going through each outfit to move a slider just so I can fix something that did not need fixing before Delta Rising.
RachelJ88
Which goes counter to your original statement in your OP, as supposedly you are the person, spending a lot of time in tailor. So, since you are not even willing to explore the new sliders, what exactly do you do in tailor?
So what is it? Just to complain on forum? I don't understand your agenda anymore. And don't even want to.
Dear devs, please keep improving things.
PS: I agree the legs have an 'X' syndrome now, and I pointed that to joejing, so hopefully the fix is coming. Some of us actually provide feedback and glitches issues to the devs, so they can improve things. Some others complain about not enough 'female words in the dictionary'... oops... about sliders names.

I spend alot of my time in the tailor, generally revamping or making new outfits.
I have several characters each with their own style set, I just found the changes overwhelming. I can equally understand the replies to my post but the trolling doesn't exactly help.
I know that I raged and deserve the equally rage/trolling replies.
Just genuinely disapointed that many parts of the tailor where *fixed* that didnt need fixing at all, ruining over half of all of my characters outfits.

Priceless!!!
I have not used the new costume settings much but I was pleasantly surprised with the extra details that are possible.
Hopefully the situation will be resolved in a way that will not offfend the gamers.
While I do like a good Camel Toe, they have never been a factor in my enjoyment of this game. In fact, I can think of a number of better places to find them.
