Narrated by members of the original Voyager cast, the Star Trek Online: Delta Rising - Official Story Trailer gives a sneak peek into the trials and tribulations that await you in the Delta Quadrant!
Saw it for the first time while playing the game last night.
Kudos to the folks who created it!
Just wish it had a bit of "Voyagers" theme in it.
(it's sad that an "Official Star Trek Game" has to jump through hoops and pay through the nose, to be able to use Original Trek themed music)

Very cool -- I accidentally skipped it when I tried to increase the volume while playing last night. Thanks for posting it on YouTube. Since we have the file on our computers (since it's in the game) is there anyway we can access that?

The game really needs a feature to change the volume during cut scenes. And if it'
s just a "reset to default volumes when certain key is pressed during cut scene."
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
Really glad you posted this online. I tried watching it in game yesterday, but the sounds of ships warping in and out around me were deafening and I couldn't hear the VO. Really good vid.

normally you guys, you are really good with music, but the song in the trailer, the one in delta quadrant sector space, it really sucks and doesn't feel like startrek what so ever. normally startrek has strong supportive low strings with gentle lighter tones, it just doesn't feel like startrek and and beyond that it was more annoying than good. there were little to no harmonies in it. you guys are awesome and i've come to expect more from you guys, i guess everyone has a right to make flubs on occasion
i dunno it felt like music you could explore with.I will admit it gets a bit annoyin after a bit in kobali zone but it fits zoomin around in your ship explorin the stars

Agreed, I actually quite like the music. I even turned my music volume up when flying around the Delta Quadrant for the first time in a long while because I was enjoying it so much. Everybody has different tastes though I guess.

Just a question: Now with us being in 2410 and in The Delta Quadrant and the whole Fed/Kling/Rom unity, maybe we can get some updated or changed log-in screen music?
Everytime I hear this military tamtamtam or the Klingon bush drumms and HOOOOOOOOO, it gets more annoying..
actually, robert picardo sounds awesome! i think it fits very well to have him sound a bit more emotional. he's been the emotional kind all along, and those 32 years certainly made him "more human".
as always garret wang gets ONE LINE
too bad none of all the star trek games of the past 25 years managed to get the licenses for the star trek OSTs... i mean your composition is ok, but it is obvious that you try to mimic the voyager score without actually using it. the actual intro-music, or better a "remixed" version of it would have given me even more goose bumps
I personally liked the music when you go to the Delta Quadrant it had a Star Trek feel to it, I heard the hint of Voyager's theme in it, and I also thought that I also heard a hint of TOS in it as well. Also, liked the voice acting by the actors that were from Voyager. I do not want you guys to fire the person who made the music. Plus, not everyone liked the theme music for Enterprise so in a sense what makes this situation any different besides it being a Star Trek Online game? I loved Mindscape, which for a bit was bugged for me, until I tried it again last night. I will play the next mission after watching Jeopardy tonight.

I'm sorry, it's time to say goodbye to Kevin Manthei and hire someone else to compose for this game.
Garret Wang and Ethan Phillips do well reprising their rolls.
But what is up with Robert Picardo portraying Spookey-Scary-Mirror-Universe Doctor?

Can I haz you stuffz?
I'm sorry to people who I, in the past, insulted, annoyed, etc.
...or is this a desperate attempt to keep players from abandoning ship ?
