Launcher error cant even get into the game

Error 36 a file is locked for writing I can't even get into the game anymore anyone else having that problem? It's constantly trying to patch and can't just keeps restarting....

    did you try a forced verify?

    Apparently, 'InvalidEntityName' wanted to trade with all of my characters and would not go away.

    Relogged. Seems to have cleared it, for now.

    did you try the forced verify i suggested in the second post?

    forced verify goes through all your files and repairs broken/bugged game files in your computer system.

    bring up the launcher but don't log in. at the top you'll see 'options.' click on that and you'll see various choices for proxy and whatnot. click on the forced verify box and then login. it'll start checking all your files. it could take some time depending on the speed of your computer.

    *sigh* Over one bug which might not have anything to do with STO...

    It's more than possible you've had a file become corrupted during the recent downloads... Should be an option in the Launcher to verify files...
    The entitlement is strong in these forums...

    file a support ticket then. i have no way of knowing what error code 36 is. it could be your firewall or a thousands other things.

    I did a few days ago but I can't get the ticket if I can't enter the game..:(

    I was able to go and delete the sto live folder relog in and it patched like 10gb now I am able to get into the game :) so far first attempt to log in it working. The force verify did not help even though it went through every single file. So if anyone else has this problem this worked for me at least right now I'm in game yahoo!
