Dear Devs-

Could you please consider other +10 power modifiers on Exotic Particle Field Exciters? E.g. +10 Shield, Engine, or Aux power.

Weapons power is not useful to everyone.

Thank you.

Those +10 power boosts bonuses are as junky as the RCS consoles. Stuff that is garbage compared to the alternatives.

Believe the OP is talking about the Exciter proc itself from the shield healing that can provide +10 Weapon Power...not mods.

The proc is probably there for a quick boost which is a great idea except most builds use plasmonic leech for that.

I would love for them to allow more of them but those consoles are worth 3 consoles when they have a modifier , the +10 weapon power is just a small added bonus

Console - Science - Exotic Particle Field Exciter Mx XII
    +31.9 Starship Particle Generator
    +21.2% Maximum Shield Capacity
When shield healed, applies Field Exciter for 15 sec
    +10 Weapon power
Effect can occur once every 30 sec

and that is just basic stats without the modifier which turns it into 3 consoles worth

Yeah ones that buff aux would be nice, but yeah shield and engine too would be good for variety.

    If they could do:

Effect can occur once every 15 sec

    that....

Thing would be extremely useful. ;)

I currently use MK XIII [ResAll], so i could remove single fleet neutronium on escort builds, and dont care to much about
    subsystem power

A question about the Particle Exciters; can you stack them, or are they limit-1-per-ship the way the special crafted weapons are?

    1 per ship.

Which is too bad, if you could have multiple equipped, you could cap particle generators and gravitons both at 400... which would make for some epic destructive gravity wells :D

BTW, how does one calculate total Particle Generator skill points? I've got a T5-U R'mor, full mastery (for the +15% bonus), 4x embassy particle gen consoles, 1x particle exciter, Solanae 3-piece set and 9 points in both PartGen and GravGen skills. Oh, and Partical Manipulator and Positive Feedback Loop traits for the Crth and damage/healing boosts.

My stats tab says "319" or something similar. However, I've got to believe it's a bit higher, what with the passive mastery trait, consoles, etc.

So...how do I add all this up? And what, if anything, would I add to boost it even *further*?

Note: I'm focused almost exclusively on damage dealing via TBR2/3 (with the reverse doff) for PvP. I don't really care too much about pull strength as I'm not trying for CC vs. other players. And for PvE, I'm already dragging even big NPCs all over the map, so no need for more GravGens.
