Help with HUDs

Is there a way to have the HD arrangements saved ? Everytime I switch ships I have to move the bridge crew display ascreen it ends up covering my Ship Throttle/Weapons display so I can't see how fast/slow I am moving.
I know I could play with just the Big personal tray but I am a horrible typist (henpeck). I use a trackball mouse to just click all my powersand with the displays overlapping I can't click, click the powers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this has been an annoying issue for 4 years now.
Thank you

When you hit escape and, go to hud options; you should be able to rearrange to your preference...stretch/shrink boxes; etc. When you leave it should save it for that character automatically.

Now, when you get a layout change from a new ship or, change characters; you have to adjust the hud for the ship, and/or character again.

On the options menu under the HUD tab at the bottom just click Save UI on the character that is set how you want. then on any new character you make you can go to the same screen and hit Load UI which will load whatever was last saved by you. Also you can scale the UI larger or smaller as well if you have a small screen or just want to give yourself a bit more room.

As far as I am aware, HUD arrangement is a per character thing. Edit your arrangement as you see fit, save it, continue playing. Rinse and repeat for each character.

F12 > arrange windows as desired

Game Options > HUD tab > Save UI button

Now you can load your other characters, Game Options > HUD tab > Load UI button
