2nd Time this week LAUNCHER IS DOWN AGAIN

Okay guys here it is Friday night and I thought I would play a little STO. Well the launcher took a big TRIBBLE AGAIN. It did this earlier on Wed nite into Thur morning. I am on the EST time zone of the USA. It gets to the part about patching and nothing happened...force verify or otherwise.

    It seems I may have this problem. I bought a new HD and went to reinstall STO on it and it says patching, but is otherwise doing absolutely nothing. According to the launcher its not even downloading the patch.

    Im on NZ standard time 8.55am Friday I'm having a issue where I can't even get on the patch server try's connecting 5 times then say check your connection . nothing wrong with my connection here I am using the internet to type this... any one got any ideas have tried restarting computer etc not wanting to reinstall. thx for any thoughts

    Im in New Zealand as well 11am and i get unable to authenticate.

    I'm in the UK and having a horrible time trying to get logged in. I have to try 4 or 5 times before I'm successful.

    It either hangs at login, or if I manage to get past that it hangs on the LOR logo with the word Loading... at the bottom of the screen.

    Tribble is the same.

    When you load the launcher it does a few things, it tries to connect to;
    208.95.185.41 patchserver2.crypticstudios.com
    208.95.185.44 www.playstartrekonline.com

    These respond fine, but its when the launcher tries to access 208.95.184.199 there are problems. Interestingly, I could not access that address while my friend on another ISP could, and our routes were the same.

    I've made a note of when the launcher has not loaded or won't authenticate and its typically an xo.net address thats a problem.

    Hey.

    I am in the same boat. Thought i'd come back to STO for a while, paid my sub but cannot get the game to patch. It's stuck on "patching" and nothing else is happening.

    Is there a way to manuall patch outside of the client?
