Does level appropriate box = mk xiii and mk xiv?

Do the various boxes that drop level appropriate gear now (DR / tribble) drop the higher mark?

Examples: fluidic kits, or reputation reward boxes.

    Does the silence mean players on Tribble have not leveled to 60, or does it mean nobody tried such a reward box?

    i've been on tribble, yet i have no idea about details like that. the problem is, once you get inside voyager, you never want to leave...

    As far as I've seen, Delta Rep still drops Mark XII items. Mark XIII are available as loot drops, but Mark XIV are not found anywhere but through upgrading.

    I haven't been on Tribble but I would guess if you were lvl 60, and replayed a map say Assimilation for example the kit drop or level appropriate item would be a mark 13 or 14 item as they are linked to your current level not the level rating of the map.

    One of the Dev's indicated in a post (within last 2 weeks) that mk13 gear would be the maximum drop, no level 14 gear will drop. :(

    That means they are gating an entire item tier behind a paywall :) (And no, being able to grind dilithium and thus get "everything for free" is just PR-talk. Dilithium is intented to be a paywall).

    Mission rewards != drops.

    Mk XII is the top tier when it comes to loot or rep even the mission rewards are MK XIII blues which are the same as MK XII purples.

    The only way to get MK XIII purples and higher is through the crafting system and maybe later into the expansion fleet stores, however they only want crafters to be able to make the best gear possible otherwise people just wouldn't use the R&D System.

    Crafting the gear is really expensive and time consuming it has all just had a big nerf but it is still very pricey.
