The main eyecatcher:

"Most importantly, we will be adding content to Delta Quadrant over the next eighteen months --- both features and story. Players can probably expect a lot of story content over the next year on a very regular basis. There won't just be season updates, but more regular and frequent updates. It will continue the story (two big teasers at the end of Delta Rising will usher in the fifth anniversary and beyond) and we have a tight, cohesive story planned for the next year and a half."

This was the big thing I noticed:

Cryptic recently removed all randomly generated content and will rebuild it from the ground up to bring a new exploration game and something that will fulfill that role.
    Your pain runs deep.
Let us explore it... together. Each man hides a secret pain. It must be exposed and reckoned with. It must be dragged from the darkness and forced into the light. Share your pain. Share your pain with me... and gain strength from the sharing.

Oh? I wonder if that means more storyline or queue missions outside of seasons. Either way, that was a good article. Good show.

Nice... Looking forward to Delta Rising already, but regular on-going episodes will make it even better...

Personally I'm not all that excited about this, in fact it feels like bad news; let's not forget that these people have completely neglected fixing game breaking bugs (NGC 1218 anomoly, Drozana station lower levels pathfinding etc) for several months so that they can work on new content and when the new content is broken, which their new content invariably is on launch because they don't listen to the feedback from tribble, who suffers? We do.

So here's what I'm fully expecting to happen; every piece of new content they release will be unstable, probably even unusable, they will continue to neglect bugs that have been in game since launch, the only new vessels released will be either C-store or lockbox unless they release a new faction and it will all just be fan service anyway. So, I hope that either I'm wrong or there are more tolerant people among us than me who might even be able to enjoy holo being used for the same thing tribble would be being used for it the devs actually paid attention to tribble feedback.

You know that Voyager episode 'year of hell'? They should have called that 'Ooh, that's a bit annoying', I predict that the year of hell is coming up on holo. ;)

did anyone elses for this part as funny as i did ?

Rivera wrapped up the interview by saying, "We've invested a lot to deliver an authentic Star Trek experience -- we are diehard Star Trek fans ourselves and take the IP seriously and hold it very precious.

I'll take that with more then a pinch of salt. This is Cryptic right, their promises and their say they will do's are as reputable as Homer Simpson's credit rating.

We were promised no more sector borders..............sometime in the near past. Last Sunday.

They never promised that. They just said they wanted to try and kill off sector borders. They then came and spoke about how from a technological standpoint, they would not be able to get it for a long time i at all.

CBS is the one who approves things before they can be put into the game.
