Please make 7's new outfit available in the c-store. You know everybody wants it. ;)

Everybody doesn't want it. I'm one that doesn't and really Cryptic insistance on using the worst star trek characters in the franchise ever. Hoepfully they will move away from Voyager and use DS9 or TNG characters next

This is great news indeed. Only thing that would make it better would be if Kate Mulgrew would join in on the action.
She might just want to be a part of it.

I'm pretty psyched that so many of the original cast will be doing voice work for STO! Especially Robert Picardo.

why in gods name does this game care about the delta quadrant at all?
when can we finally expect to see new content for the alpha and beta quadrant?
... or see that the existing content there finally gets a purpose?

its not that there is nothing left to explore:
    http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VZVY9K9OJYQ/UQKeokP2nJI/AAAAAAAARtI/FkcE5NAQ1Z8/s1600/star-trek-map-04.jpg

i mean... really... in STO you can travel 70000 light years to the delta quadrant but at the same time you are not allowed to visit the core worlds of the federation
there are dozens of federation core worlds know from decades of star trek but in STO they are totally unknown... just like they never have existed

and the few worlds which exist in STO have totally lost their importance.
Vulcan... pfft... Andoria... a dead world without anything to do... Bajor... yawn... DS9... havent felt the need to visit it since months... memory alpha... removed.... star clusters... removed.

Im just waiting for the day that cryptic will get rid of the sector maps and replace them by new PVE queues. This game has completely lost the key idea behind star trek: EXPLORATION

Very impressed you managed to get five of them! Just hope the writings up to scratch.

Also seeing as you got five you could have held off on a couple and had them show up as a surprise during the missions rather than just telling us they're coming back...

well, yeah... i havent seen a single player complaining about exploration
its just a really bad design choice to ignore the key element of Star Trek

Like: Doctor, Tuvok. Both were some of the better written characters in VOY. Getting the actors to show up for any character is a good thing.

Neutral: Kim, 7. Kim never stuck out too much to me, and I didn't (and still don't) care much for Barbie of Borg but her character did have good development.

Dislike: Bar Rodent, err, Nelix. He was annoying. Can our meeting him start with one of our Security Officers shooting him?

Well to be completely fair that was only the labeled "exploration" system which had just about as much discovery involved as watching a pair of dice roll and reading off a numbered card what "adventure" you had (of perhaps 3 or 4 choices). We do have a fair number of strange new worlds to wander around for anyone interested in what exploration actually means (and it isn't infinite permutations, that's just what you get with a big universe.)

So you just turned him off? Can't see what's so special about that.

This is great and all, but can you hire someone to do some new music for the game?

Agreed 8472 times over... We've needed new background music since, like, a year and a half ago. The current music is cool, but without variation it gets old fast.

You know...they could be doing that for all we really know. I can easily see someone hopping on the Voyager bridge and stating to Tuvok "You're in my chair" in the first DR cutscene.

Still, that's wishful thinking but there's room to hope for a few DR surprises.

Here's how you get around it, mute it and open spotify/xbox music. From experience anything between Sigur Ros and VNV Nation works pretty well for STO (though of course you could always pull up one of the ST soundtracks if you want to be "consistent" with the franchise. :P)

According to the Path to 2409, Volume 17, Chapter 4 – Who was the head of Starfleet intelligence in 2406? Chakotay.

With all this new focus on Intelligence Bridge Officers for our Tier 6 starships, it seems reasonable to me that Robert Beltran might join the voice-over acting as well.
