Upgraded T5U ships

The following worked ships upgraded console slot worked fine.

Jem Hadar Attack Ship
Jem Hadar Heavy Escort Carrier
Jem Hadar Dreadnought Cruiser
Hirogen Apex Heavy Battlecruiser
Hirogen Hunter Heavy Escort
Mobius Temporal Destroyer
1000 Day Heavy Destroyer (Fed, KDF, Rom)
Wells Temporal Science Vessel
All Dyson Science Destroyer (Fed, KDF, Rom)
Voth Bastion Flight Deck Cruiser
Voth Palisade Science Vessel
Elachi S'Golth Escort
Breen Chel Grett Warship
Breen Plesh Brek Heavy Raider
Undine Nicor Bio-Warship
Undine Dromias Bio-Cruiser
Dreadnought Cruiser
Heavy Escort Carrier
Assault Cruiser Refit
B'rel Bird-of-Prey Retrofit

Ships that were buggy (said upgrade but nothing happened etc) and not upgrade able.

Ferengi D'Kora Marauder :mad: (not showing upgrade icon at all)
Long Range Science Vessel Retrofit
Defiant (3 out of 4 times)

When upgrading these ships ALOT! and I mean ALOT of ship consoles would disappear. These console would just be gone and would NOT show up in the Inventory bag. These seemed to be ship specific consoles. Some of these are...

Dynamic Tactical System
Cloaking Device (Defiant/Dread)
Torpedo Point Defense System
All Romulan T5 ship consoles. eg. Plasma Destabilizer, Ionized Particle Beam, Focused Singularity Modulator, Cloaked Barrage, etc, etc. I really do mean all.

also A few ships skills are bugged. I only found this with the following:

Wells Temporal Science Vessel (Icons where not in the box making them hard to see or read.
Blockade Runner Escort Retrofit (Has lines to show leveling but no skills shown of what each level does)

    For got the 2 tal shiar ships. they also work fine with the +1 console.

    A fix for the ship speficic consoles being deleted, is to un-equip the console, then upgrade the ship, and re-equip via selecting a loadout.

    I tested this with a HEC and its TPDS. Though I'm not sure if the console works, as I closed the game client not long after. I noticed that the tooltip for the TPDS did not state that it was able to be fitted to the T5-U HEC... Maybe this has something to do with it.

    Also add the C-Store Dyson Destroyer consoles to this list of self-deleteing consoles.

    The Risian Corvette receives 2x Engineering Console slots when upgraded - resulting in 12 total consoles, 5 Engineering, 3 Science and 4 Tactical...

    I have replicated this multiple times and on 2 different characters... One Fed and one KDF Romulan...
    The entitlement is strong in these forums...

    I have the Xindi-Aquatic Narcine Dreadnought Carrier and I encountered the console problem on that ship as well, but as mentioned above removing the console before upgrading fixed that issue. The second problem I encountered is I am not able to equip that console on the T5-U version of the ship for I get the "class requirements not met" error when trying to equip it.

    Similar problem with my Scimitar - however when I right click on said consoles(the Scimi native ones) I get a full on crash.

    Edit: In case anyone cares...When I upgraded any ship so far, it feels as if the game recognizes it as another, totally different ship. Not the ship the console is bound to. The only way I've gotten around this is to discharge the ship and not upgrade it - that restores console use. MAC user running through Steam.

    Edit 2: In fact that's exactly what it is - the consoles do not list the upgraded ships.

    all the time consoles are unavailable anywhere when you upgrade...

    The Tipler cylinder, Tachyokinetic convertor and the Manhiem device ALL say they are equipped on another ship....they DO NOT transfer :eek:

    looked on all my ships and looked in my bank etc ...they are just lost in the ether.

    If you remove the ship specific consoles before upgrading I found the system says 'class requirements not met' when you attempt to reinstall them by drag and drop or double click.

    When I think about everything we've been through together,

    maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

     and if that journey takes a little longer,

    so we can do something we all believe in,

     I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

    I upgraded my Fleet Patrol Escort Refit to T5-U and lost the Nadion Saturation Bomb console AND the Tempest Tail gun.

    the tempest tailgun on the patrol escort becomes unfused when the ship is upgraded and totally disappears . also the the fleet chimera's (FED FLEET 1000 Day Heavy Destroyer) unique console will disappear if the ship is upgraded too so it look like fleet ships have issues too

    This is happening with almost all unique consoles, saw it on my own chimera. Since its so wide spread, I do believe they know about it and it just might be a bug on the test server that they have plans to squash later but have no real effects on what they are trying to test now. Most likely the tail gun and chimera console will be automaticlly moved to gold/epic status at launch and work as intended.

    the tempest tail gun on the patrol escort refit is a fused weapon and iis not supposed to be able to even be able to be removed. I did encounter a similar bug when my breen cluster torp suddenly disappeared on me. I replayed he mission that awarded it, and I suddenly had two breen cluster torps in my inventory. I am willing to bet that we still have the missing items, just like the case with the breen cluster torp, it is not, for whatever reason showing up in the inventory. if we were allowed to claim a new chimera I would be wlling to bet the missing console would suddenly make an appearance giving us two of the consoles one thing I noticed on the t5-u patrol escort, is the fused weapon slot disappears too, not just the tail gun weapon

    The Dynamic Tactical System console cannot be installed on a T5-U upgraded Fleet Chimera, as of the most recent Tribble update available from the time of posting. Attempting to install the console will result in a "Class requirements not met" error.

    how are you even getting one? it has totally disappeared for us when the ship gets upgraded

    I removed my dynamic console from my fleet Daenois before I upgraded to T5U . the console satyed in inventory but it's no longer equipable on the T5U. get the bug of class requirements not met. when I leave the console in on a second character and upgrade the fleet ship the console goes boom . when I upgraded a normal daenois ( rom vet ship ) to T5U the console stayed and worked fine. going to re send my holodeck rom chars . an see if the normal vet ship with console left in and upgraded to T5U , will be equippable on a upgraded fleet vet ship . If so then we have a possible work around. if not then it's still broken .

    Not sure if thsi has been mentioned. Since the patch that added Fleet ships to the T5-U system, Fleet Tor'Kaht doesn't have the upgrade option.

    Has anyone been able to upgrade the Fleet Vo'Quv as I don't have the option on my screen.

    Out of curiosity, when it became unfused, could you slot other things there?

    He's getting one by unequipping it or not having it equipped when upgrading. The only reason it disappears is because you have it equipped when upgrading and it is not compatible with the new ship.

    Not sure if this is noted, But when upgrading Fleet Chimera or Fleet Patrol Escort Refit to T5-U ends up with the ship class specific consoles failing to work. This includes at the moment the Nadion Bomb console for the Fleet Patrol Refit and the Dynamic Tactical System. This is because they are not listed for FLEET versions of the ships. Using non fleet, the T5-U will be able to use the consoles, but Fleet versions cannot

    I had the dumb luck or foresight to remove my secondary shields console on my falchion before upgrading...but it won't reinstall. Somehow my T5U is no longer acceptable for it, even though it came with it.

    This may be a "known issue", not sure, but given how long its been going on, its a little close to the wire for such a whopping bugblol
