How do I rank up fast on tribble

I want to do the new mission "revelations", but it require lvl 51, and since all the missions only award 430 sp each, thats gonna be a while LOL. And I know people done the mission already, so there's gotta be a faster way, or at least I hope so

Playing on elite difficulty gives much greater experience from kills, so that's probably your best bet.

Actually, it seems the Elite difficulty surely scaled up, in terms of difficulty. I normally play on Elite, as a default setting, and when I played the last two story missions, in space, I just wasn't able to give it a decent run. So be careful with it.

    I'm lvl 56, nearly 57... but I did play a heck a lot of Borg: Disconnected. :)

I ran Disconnected about 8 times and I was a sliver away from 51. YMMV.

I ran Borg: Disconnected 3 times and 1 time on "Advanced" and it got me from 50 to just a bit above 51...

I have no idea how you guys and gals have been running those PVEs. I'm pretty much perma-queued, but as no one seems to queue as well, they never pop.

Once you hit L52 and get the first set of patrol missions they're repeatable. I've been re-doing the Benthan assistance mission (I forget the star system but it's at the top right of the map), and getting 4-5k XP per run, on Elite. (Usually I play normal, so it's clearly not that hard a mission!)

Another thought is to dip back into Tau Dewa and do a couple cycles of the Romulan patrols on elite. Lots of crunchy targets that drop lots of sp.

yeah bd runs the best rewards up normal or elite doesnt really matter, the amount of borg and 8472 flying at you and your team, you will end up making bars of xp to the next grade without delay. i prefer not to grind it out however, i dont want to loose the will to play it to death before its ready.

    Hey guys.

I just got word that we're going to be turning on the XP Boost "Weekend" on Tribble shortly. So everyone leveling there will start seeing a small passive bonus. (Confirmed: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?p=19195161#post19195161)

We're also working on a more flexible solution, hoping to introduce it next week. It's still being finalized, so keep an eye on upcoming Patch Notes for more details.

I gotta say, this only makes me miss the Star Cluster missions more and this shows one of the weaknesses of relying on queueables too heavily.

While I understand that this may not be as much of a problem on the live server as it is on Tribble, I'm kind of hoping there'll be more new repeatable content that isn't locked behind the queue window early on as well as further in, to also help with exp gain for those of us who've played everything so far.

Then I will wait for a better solution next week.

Tribble is for testing, not grinding.

mission replay is ok, but boring. Undine space zone doing klingon weapons gives good xp without the pain of the stf.

This is a related question to the topic: How do I fix the 'not gaining/being-able-to-spend skill points" issue? Skill respec? Re-copy character? Something Else(tm)?

    Thanks.

    A re-copy should fix that.

surface tension is the best way and fastest way! for me it was two levels per run on elite. in the 23 min cool down run the tau dewa sector patrol. i also used the 8 hour skill and XP boost what gives a 20% bonus.

I think that's the ship mastery ranking up. But we can't see the progress visually since the mastery bars disappeared in the last patch.

There is no animation for ship progress, if using a T5U ship...there will be none.

There's no visable bar for ship progress right now but there still are visual effects tied to reaching each level (ie. level up sparkle+sound).
