Hello fellow authors, since we're getting back to our regular Foundry Roundtable schedule I need missions to review, and I want to help authors who have new missions get them out of review status (or old missions that are struggling to get five reviews).
So, post your missions that are below five reviews here and I will review them on the show and obviously give them a rating in-game to help them get out purgatory. Both Fed and KDF are acceptable. Let me know which faction, mission name and author name.
Hey Drogyn I have two missions I would like you to review made for my group's Foundry Contest. The following missions are below 5 reviews though and I would very much like you to judge them:
STO Name and Handle: Thon@RadioActivitii
Mission Title: Deep Space 27 (FED)
ID: ST-HODK2EMFY
Faction: Starfleet
Level: 30-40+
Mission Summary: A derelict station has recently been reactivated by the Romulan Star Empire.
STO Name and Handle: Scott Archer Kevin killmore@rileypasty
Mission Title: The Last Outpost of the Tai'Ameh
Faction: Starfleet
Level: 40-50+
ID: ST-HKVFGP5QG
Mission Summary: After the presidential ship of the Tai'Ameh is lost, you are asked to go to the Amaya, the Tai'Ameh home world to fill the power vacuum until a new president is chosen.
I worked with the Foundry when it first came out as I recall but really havnt worked with it as much as I have in the past few days and watched some 'long' tutorials.
My goal is to make a simple mission in under 15 minutes; I am currently live streaming my whole re-learning process at:
I made one in an hour last nite. My goal is to understand the basics and then get into more complicated things which seems to interfere - imagination can do that as the Foundry is very versatile; but you have to be that way just to do simple things it seems.
So if anyone needs help or can help me with issues hop on over to my streams. I am looking forward to the upcoming STO-Foundry streams and get-togethers.
Eventually, and soon I hope, I will have my own Foundry thread to share my Live Stream dates and goings on !
My question here is are these missions reviewed such that they need to be reviewed to stay on the publish list or is it more for the vets here to give kool critiques so we can improve (?) not necessarily deleting our missions in the Foundry but maybe getting them back to make improvements on them and then returning them for re-publishing?
newly published missions need 5 reviews to become available to the "general public" (players who have not signed up to become reviewers). You can make changes and republish afterward without withdrawing the mission - this does not reset the review count. Not sure if withdrawing it does.
withdrawing the mission does not reset its review that are forever attached to it... you really have to erase the mission to do that... a common course of action in case one wants to reset to zero the review queue is to copy the mission, erase the original and then publish the copy of the original mission... (of course the number attached to the mission changes)
To answer some questions, the purpose of this is twofold.
A) I play the mission and leave a review in-game, which helps toward getting the mission the 5 reviews it needs to be visible to the general public. This is something that is always helpful, as even experienced authors can struggle to get missions out of the review tab.
It gives me missions to review on the show. Hopefully this is helpful to the authors in that I usually have some suggestions, and it gets their name and the mission name out to our audience (which is not huge, I grant you, but still any publicity is good publicity).
Westmetals, I've given your mission to one of the other hosts, he was not sure if he could fit it in before this week's show, but said he'd try. I want to stick to sub-5 review missions for the time being.
cmdrhawkeyez, you should be able to make a new thread for your livestream now that you have more than 10 posts, and I would encourage you to do so.
Helix, added your missions to my queue:
Deep Space 27
The Last Outpost of the Tai'Ameh
The Caitian Gambit part 1 of 2
Explore Delta Volanis Mission 4
Hi Folks,
I just published my second mission today. I would like to offer it for review to my fellow Foundry Authors.
It is Federation faction.
Titled "Beckon Me Unto Beacons"
Level ANY
I've recently come to the point in my first mission where I can share it with others for feedback, advice, tips and, of course, a typo check.
This mission will be entered into an upcoming contest run by Grand Nagus.
Unfortunately, only a handful of people have played it, so it's not searchable by name or author yet. But you can find it with the shortcode ST-HMKY24EJ3.
Any suggestions are definitely appreciated!
This is a federation mission best played by Starfleet toons.
To start, go to the staging area of New Romulus and find the command / medical tents. Enter at the building in the center. This mission should take around 30 minutes.

Hi Drogyn, my mission is well and truly out of reviewing but I'd still like to submit it for the Roundtable's consideration. If I've put this in the wrong thread for that, I'll happily move the post.

mcduffie369, your mission that is below five reviews seems to be geared toward your fleet specifically, but if you want I can still review it.
