Duty Officer cant be used as Active Space Duty

I hope some of the Dev read that because I write 15 Bug reports over more than 8 Months and the problem still exist.

The Problem is the fallowing. I have a Voth Duty Officer his name is Rathul Haken on my FED Science. He is an Space Armory Officer with have a chance to randomly shut a second Subsystem offline at use of Subsystem targeting attacks.

But I can't get him slotted as an active Space Officer because the System says "You cannot equip more than 1 items of that category". Well that would be ok when the list wasn't completely empty!!! I can't set him as active when the list is empty or when there is only a conn or other Duty is on active duty he just want to go to work because every time I try it it says "You cannot equip more than 1 items of that category".

So I looked at the Duty and it is an FED Duty officer and no there is not an other Armory Officer in the list even when only the last place is empty.

I don't know what to do so perhaps someone can help or a Dev can take a look at that.

    Good Idea I try it and yeah I can throw him out of the airlock and buy another but sadly that doesn't help. The Problem is still there. I can use him for Duty Missions but not set him as Active Space Duty.

    Well I don't throw him out of the Airlock just send him to another character and try him there and buy another one for my sci but both don't work as Active Dutys

    Since he's an Armory officer... is it possible you have a Ground Armory officer slotted?

    No idea if ground/space DOff conflicts are WAI, but they definitely do conflict sometimes. :(

    Xangen you're awesome. That did it. I had one Armory in the ground and kick him out and now It works. Thank you. I never know that space and Ground can conflict each other. Thank you very much.

    Yeah, there has been a confliction with doffs of the same class whether ground, or space being on active duty at the same time, not allowing more than1-3 total.

    They do conflict. I had other doffs (think they are technicians but cant be sure) that were ground and space, if one was slotted for space, the ground one couldnt be slotted. Its actually kind of irritating.
