I just ran a Crystalline Cataclysm with a bunch of T6's...

By Evil Spock's beard, I haven't seen such spankings since the Risa's Summer Blowout 2399 when the resort had those Vulcan Fraternities rent out the main hall for Rush Week.

I think we should just end the event early and give everyone the event rewards now, because I don't think the Entity will show it's metaphorical face in our quadrant for a long, long, long time.

I wouldn't. Not after that kind of a beat down.

    Unless Cryptic screwed up again, we're not supposed to see them till DR launch day. Not even on Tribble before then. I think I smell forum troll.
    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

    I have no idea how, but the CC's I have been in have been over in less than five minutes. This was not the case yesterday, and the only thing that I know has happened was that the pack was announced. So either everyone got really super good in the last 6 hours or people are using T6's, because I am seeing some fancy looking Warbirds that I have not seen before.

    pack isn't tell oct 14.

    I can guarantee that Tier 6 ships aren't out yet. Something like that would have caused a much greater uproar than one thread.

    Are you sure you're not just seeing the Daeinos? It's got a broadly similar silhouette to the new warbird.

    Maybe....I did just wrap up an Elite CC with what looked like a Galaxy, but it had ridged nacelles and a V neck pylon set up. Does anyone know if that's just a mix match? Because I know the new Fed Cruiser has a Galaxy look to it with a V pylon, but I'd like to be sure I just saw a Galaxy and not a Cruiser.

    No Scimtars. We had two mystery Warbirds, an Obelisk, my own Mirror Ha'apix and someone in what I think was either a decked out Vesta or an Andorian stealth ship thing. His hull coloring was too dark against the "black fog" anomolay the CC started with. :/

    That could be an Ambassador-class. Those suckers are hard to kill. And it does bear more than a passing similarity to the Galaxy if it's zipping by while you're busy doing something else.

    There is a Galaxy neck option that I call the 'cobra' cause it is longer and wider looking than the standard one. You don't see it alot, cause it's weird looking.

    OP, you did CC instead of CCE, the Nukara/Fleet mark reward will confirm it.

    No, they were parked over me while we were blasting away at the Entity, so I had a few seconds to look at it. I tried to get a screenshot, but while I was clearing the UI and adjusting the camera, the Entity let out a pulse and toasted me. :(

    They were probably Ar'Kif's or some other high DPS ship.

    Whatever it was in your group, they were absolutely not T6 ships, that much is for sure. I did a CE run a couple days ago that couldn't have lasted more then 4 min, it happens from time to time. When the fight started, I focused on the first group of ships and the CE was down under 70% before I even got to it.

    It happens.

    Only CC I run is on my Klingon, because she's using the freebie Gorn ship and I'm just using it until I get my Mogh or T6 Klingon BC, depending on how much they cost. I run CCE on my Romulan and Fed because both of their ships are formidable.

    I did better than ever in my Tier 5 Ambassador compared to my Tier 4 ship, maybe it was me you met?

    No Scimtars. We had two mystery Warbirds, an Obelisk, my own Mirror Ha'apix and someone in what I think was either a decked out Vesta or an Andorian stealth ship thing. His hull coloring was too dark against the "black fog" anomolay the CC started with. :/

    That was probably me, I have a Support Cruiser Refit with the Rom borg engines, giving it that glowing malformed shape.

    Glad you noticed! She's been my favorite for quite some time now (about a year or so). ;)

    I've been in some crazy fast regular CC runs. I've seen several where the CE was around 70% by the time I was done with the first wave of Tholians, and I think a couple where it didn't get off its second shockwave.
