ESD Environment Glitch

I noticed that the floor in the shuttlebay area of ESD is glitched. It is raised and is therefore clipping into shuttles and a runabout in the near-distance of the inaccessible area. It looks pretty bad. Hopefully you guys can address that given its one of the first things new players will see.

I wasn't able to submit a bug report due to 'TicketError - Could not connect'.

Hope an image will suffice.

That's been like that from the beginning. It's more of a barrier between each shuttle bay docking port. As you can see in your picture, there's a door that leads onto said walkway and it never clipped into the runabouts or shuttles.

As others have said, it's not a glitch, just a misperception. The Danube Class and other shuttles are on the far side of a raised rib between sections. You can see the Yellowstone parked parallel to the camera, on the right side of the frame, is raised up, and sitting on that raised section.

It'd be really nice to be able to walk into (at least some of) that area, rather than just the balcony. Would make for some cool rp... at least until the discoball kids arrive to spoil the atmosphere.

I was one of the few people who found the way in there when it was still being built and not as nice. That darn raised floor prevented us from getting any further. And yes, it was fun being in there when we weren't supposed to be. Just like taunt-dancing in front of a certain fleet admiral. I wonder if Kirk got the same rush from flouting authority...

Flouting authority is always fun... I miss the days of being able to get on top of the roof of Starfleet Academy. Nothing more fun than standing up on one of the ledges near the shuttle bay, dancing away and getting confused questions in chat and tells... Oh that Cardassian "Gul Libble" and his refusal to hand over more Rocket boots. He was such a Cad. :D

I was able to get in there when it was in development, and it's only half built. It's like those building props in old westerns, just the front, no back. The illusion is broken when you get real close.

there was a big push to be able to at least enter that first area and have a block so players cant enter the first transit lane, but it was blasted every time.

I got to go out there during the construction, and it was very interesting, but the farther you travel, the rougher the scenery gets. and the farther areas are hard for players to get across because they weren't designed for it.

also, it is impossible to get back up out of there, there is no provision for it.
