So - a 5 second timegate for completion = fixed?!?!

So - missions still have the 5 second artifice for completion now - but now they say "finishing", so that makes it alright and WAI now, right?

    This is beyond insane. The only thing they've done is cosmetically cover up the timer so people can't accurately see how long a project has been stufk.

    This bug is highly annoying. It takes what feels like FOREVER just to wait for all the DOff assignments and Crafting projects to complete.

    I would like to hear some info from the Devs if this is working as intended or if there is potentially another bug in the mix somewhere. I was much nicer before when they would complete (fairly) quickly.

    On R&D tab, mine says next complete in -5 days, etc. but the timer has stopped. Still all stuck, though.

    I can't even be bothered with doffing anymore - the only thing that kept me logging in every day. And the fact that Cryptic didn't even fix the issue, but merely covered it up annoys me greatly and just shows how much they care about players' feedback and reports...

    Seriously Cryptic, least you could do is aknowledge this on the forums - "yes, we're aware of the issue, sorry it wasn't fixed but we're working on it", at the very least.

    Just to recapitulate:

    - Some people ended up with a stuck 'Respond to subordinate's challenge'.
    - They roll out a 'fix' that makes all assignements take 5 seconds to complete.
    - People end up with up to ALL assignement slots filled with stuck assignements.
    - They change the negative timers with the label 'finishing'.


    So, is it just me or the situation isn't getting any better? I would actually say it's getting worse. What's next?

    And btw. what a great way to experience a doffing weekend event when you can't doff due to stuck assignements.

    Another week and still not fixed..hm,maybe due to i am german in my stupid little world finished means finished and not "oh, wait 5 seconds that i can do my job"...

    and doing bugfixes a la

    *pseudocode*

    for each assignment in assignmentlist{
    if (assignment.duration<0){assignment.label='finishing'}
    else{assignment.label=assignment.duration}
    }

    *pseudocode ends*

    is not really bugfixing. This can be made up in 5 seconds without ANY brain.
    additionaly it is another decision clause slowing down the program.

    sorry, i am a little bit pis...annoyed
    waiting for DR that our old bugs in STO won't get lonely and get some new bugs to join.....
