I wish that love was like the Motion Picture.

Two people, so deeply in love, maybe one more than the other, could merge into energy particles and ascend to a higher dimension of being and never have to worry about real world problems again.

    Welcome to reality.

Problem is, to do that, you'd need a third party advanced space probe that was "modified" somehow by random space accidents.

And who knows, isn't there random stories out there that speculate that Decker/Ilia/V'Ger might have been the "official" start of the Q continuum? I mean, during Kirk's day, the random superbeings were all different races, then there were none in the rest of the movies (Sybok was doing the "Wizard of Oz trickery" thing, then the first episode of TNG brought in the latest hyper-being, Q, and that was it - everything else was strangely mortal in some way/shape/form...
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

To rob a line: [quote: Mariemaia Kushrenada] Forum Posting is much like an endless waltz. The three beats of war, peace and revolution continue on forever. However, opinions will change upon the reading of my post.[/quote]

The Q were around long before that.

I thought you were gonna say "drags on forever and padded out with special effects."

Saw the title and immediately thought of John Denver.

*sings* "Perhaps love is like the Motion Picture..."

no, no, no! Rhythm is all wrong.

    *grabs eraser*

*sings* "Perhaps love is like a resting place"

And if my grandmother had wheels she'd be a wagon
