I was going through my various toons shipyards clearing out the dross and installing some of the consules bought from c-store ships.
It then occued what a pain it is claim the ships only to take the consule then dismiss them.

Well here's a thought, why not add any c-store ship consule to the reclaim tab in the dill store. The normal restrictions apply but it save you having to reclaim and dismiss already owned ships just for the consule.

Gee, they did do this sort of thing for lockbox and promotional event ships. You'd think they would've included C-Store ships as well.

There's a difference though between a c-store ship and a promotion or lockbox ship.... in that you can't dismiss and reclaim the later but you can the former.

It's been requested before, i know i requested it in the past, but i don't think i have ever seen a dev response.

Claiming consoles from your purchased C-store ships through the reclaim of the dilithium store gets a +1 from me.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I haven't bought any Z-store or Lobi ships yet, but the Risan ships do enable a console reclaim. I got one of each for all my 'toons during the summer event, and both ships can mount the other's console for a minor "kit' bonus. I have a couple of ships where I "reclaimed" the opposite console and mounted it together with the normal one...
Expendables Fleet: Andrew - Bajoran Fed Engineer Ken'taura - Rom/Fed Scientist Gwyllim - Human Fed Delta Tac
Savik - Vulcan Fed Temporal Sci
    Dahar Masters Fleet: Alphal'Fa - Alien KDF Engineer Qun'pau - Rom/KDF Engineer D'nesh - Orion KDF Scientist Ghen'khan - Liberated KDF Tac

That's the thing it is enabled for some items but not the ones people have paid Zen for, doesn't make sense. A company hold make it as easy as possible to part you and our money, cryptic seems to work......differently....

It's not as much of a pain as it seems.

As an example, I just got the Scimitar 3 pack for my Republican toons. Since I can pop out as many of those ships as I want, it's no loss for me to claim and dismiss them over and over. The only hard part is getting the name right in the dismissal window. I have a TAC and an ENG and they are both in thier type specific ships (working on a sci at the moment), so I had to get rid of four ships to kit out two.
Everywhere I look, people are screaming about how bad Cryptic is.
    What's my position?
That people should know what they're screaming about!
