I need help with BoFF

Alright, I've been away from the game for about a few months so I can't remember if this was intended or not.
I just got my Jem'Hadar BoFF yesterday. I used him to train up my other officers in TS3. I still had him in my reserves. I log on today and hes gone. Just missing. I had him yesterday and today hes gone. I had another BoFF with APDelta 3 and I used him to train up another BoFF of mine and after that he disappeared.
What I want to know is if using the Train up option on reserve BoFF removes them from your inventory? I didn't think it did. If it doesn't then I think there is a bug in the game that needs to be fixed.
Can I redo the mission for the Jem'Hadar BoFF or since I got him once I can never get him again?

When you use a candidates skill to train an active BOff that dismisses them and unfortunately the special BOffs are once only.
EDIT: Didn't think you could regain the BOff. If you can get 'em again it would have to be during the replay events though.
Lucky for you, you can re-run the mission Facility 4028 to get the Jem'Hadar Boff an unlimited number of times.
