ACC mod doesn't work anymore with BFAW btw...no overflow and BFAW is a garanteed hit anyway.
They may be changing this in the future again, but since DR is coming in october, buying new gear now seems a little useless anyway.
also, why have 2 BFAW in a A2B build? get BO2 instead...doesn't drain weaponpower anymore and is a garanteed crit.
ohh yah good point about the expac. Hmm so if not upgrading my gear now i guess i should just stick to earning Dil and Fleet Credit?
EDIT: and the build was from last year, i had posted it in another thread. I didnt have the right quality technicians yet to get all the way down. But i have all purp techs now and i no longer run 2 bfaw. I also added in my first post that it was old, and i didnt feel like making a new one so pretty much just disregard the boff abilities and just focus on the gear.
Not sure if you really should invest even in new core right now. If you have the EC to buy it from the exchange then sure but shelling out 60k fleet credits and 30k dil for fleet stuff is pointless since DR will probably give us access to better gear for probaly just 10k more than the elite mk12 or something like that.
As for the build:
Borg set is nice for the hull regen but that's pretty much the only thing it has. How about nukara shield+engines for the +2,5% Weapon damage and weapons system repair & the counter command deflector which gives slight boosts to dps and survivability.

DO NOT go for the severety consoles, period!
This guy right here is why you shouldn't come to the forums for advice.
If you are looking for a PvE build, I suggest a couple of changes.
Aux to battery constantly nerfs aux power which makes hazard emitters consistently good for stopping the plasma burn, but you have to wait for aux power to raise up to get any decent heals. Be patient by waiting a few seconds sometimes and use HE and PH when you have some aux power, and it'll go a long way to helping you stay alive.
Most folks set aux power very low in A2B builds, which further complicates matters.
A2B's aux transfers means transfer shield strength would need to be used when there is aux power too.
Try to use Hazard emitters 1 and Science team 2. ST2 will be giving a consistent heal to shields and is up often.
Here is the tough one, drop RSP2 and use DEM2.
ST2 should supply enough good shield heals to make RSP less of a need, and DEM would be useful then to boost damage.
As far as weapons go, in PvE, CRTD modified weapons are great for most stuff. Rommie plasma and AP weapons are about the best right now for DPS, so you can certainly stay with plasma if you want.
Fleet weapons AREN'T an upgrade from Romulan Plasma. A huge downgrade in fact. Fleet Weapons are a lie. Their mods are absolutely rubbish.. Acc and Dmg? Acc is good for PvP.. but for PvE, you want CrtD. Rom Plasma with CrtDx2 is second only to Antiproton with CrtD mods (NOT FLEET ONES).
