  i would suggest not buying one and make one use zone chat esd, first city, new rom command, offer say 500k ec per person to assist in creating it should be enough to grab some attention for having someone stand around for 5 mn

  I have been there and done that. I wasted about 10 hours trying to do that without success. Was is why I made the post. It seems to be easier to buy an abandoned fleet then to get people to help. After seeing another post along the same line, I thought this way would be better

  Be prepared to spend in the BILLIONS of EC to get a pre-built fleet.

  Offer good money (like 1mill per person) for people to help start a fleet, and you can usually get people quickly.

  youre not interested in starting your own, doing the work to advance it, or playing with other people...
  please dont pop in here in few weeks complaining that cryptic doesnt care about 'small fleets', that its too hard, that your 3 man fleet deserves a discount, etc.

  The "standard" rate now is $1Mil ec/volunteer.
  I had no problem getting a full Team.
  If you're serious, this is a pittance.

  I tried to do this not too long ago with little success people want 50-100 mil for a T1.... thats ridiculous, so I just started one myself in just over 2 months I have a full T2 starbase working on T3 now and a T1 1/2 mine done by only me. If you need help starting a fleet tonight let me know I can help @semperpimpin
