Should drain no weapon power and have 250% crtH.

its not fair compared to BO...it works with beams so it should have the same effect.

Also to make the change work well cannons should drain 10 times more weapon power when used and 20 times more when used with crf or csv.

opinions?!

    its legit...BO drains zero power with beams so why should BFAW?

    They should put that on tribble for testing....you dont want it to go bellow 250%...it would not be fair.

    EDIT:

    got another idea to not ruin people's builds.

    a2b tech doffs should work with rsp so people get to keep their aux and still have all powers on global cd. .... this is the best idea ever on this forum .Its almost on the same level with the BO change so this needs to happen after the next maintenance.

    Yes! This should totally happen, it will be so awesome :) as it is now, when i fire my faw and phasers it takes way to much power away so i agree with this 100%
    Faw Should draw no power what so ever and should crit all the time

    And each beam of the FAW should hit like a BOIII. Stfs are too hard we need more firepower.

    Well in PvE, I've actually been parsed at 100% accuracy (using cannons of course). But PvP, yes I agree it shouldn't miss, it's unfair that people try to avoid FAW.

    Even if Cryptic did this one time, the non-PvPers would still find a way to blame us somehow.

    It would be awesome and it would help game balance alot...ofcourse it wont help as much as BO change but it will be pretty cool.

    Don't forget the double set bonus.

    For every 2 beams slotted you get +50% shield resistence

    the old BO doffs are almost gone so new people dont have them.That will make everyone equal so those with the old doffs wont have an unfair advantage over new people.

    Heck why stop there, bfaw should also have 100% shield penetration, inflict a -400 DR to targets, and even penalize targets movement by a 400% factor.

    If you die from FAW it should inflict a ship injury, like on elite STFs, but one that requires a special component to repair you can only buy from the C store.

    I think they should combine FAW and BO into one power. No power draw, 100% critH at 250% critD. But only limit it to 10 targets for 10 seconds. After all we don't want it op now.
