increasing sprint speed

I play the Voth ground battlezone all the time. A large problem I have is that I have no bonus to sprint speed. Where can I get gear or skills to boost my foot speed?

    Get an engineer that has Combat Supply kit OR use the motion accelrator? Also, the Christmas boots seem to be a fave as well.

    Welcome2earf mentioned them, though he called them the 'Christmas boots'.

    Those are an excellent thing to use though for any character, whether you are in a combat-related map or a non-combat map. (That is to say, it helps whether you are on ESD or a ground STF for example)

    They do stop working if you enter combat though.

    Past that you have:

    Combat Supply (or pick up a speed buff on the Voth ground zone), engineers only
    Motion Accelerator, tac only, but is an AoE power when activated
    Psionic Command Aura (I think), tac only, but is also AoE

    Special event under "rep" by dyson, romular, omega rep tabs, etc. You need the ingredients, I think it's still an option under the christmas store. Ingredients to buy it are beads, bells, candles, or ornaments. I don't recall the amount but it's on the store listing. These can be found on the exchange as needed. The boots are bound on pickup so they cannot be found on exchange.

    There's also talk of a coming trait which will add 20% run speed. I predict that will be quite popular. Too bad there aren't enough trait slots. Not worth running faster when you got boots and when other traits help you kill the enemy faster.
