Hello All,
Ive been doing some fast leveling to get some information on how many experience points you need for certain levels. Ive not completed yet so if anyone would like to fill in the blanks that would be good.
Just to explain how it works first. Experience points gain you skill levels. Skill levels multiplied by 10 are your skill ability in each of the different schools e.g. level 6 is 60 crafting skill level 10 is 100 crafting skill.
Level 1 and 10 crafting skill is reached after 30 xp is attainted
Level 2 and 20 after 280 xp
Level 3 and 30 after 10,000 xp
Level 4 and 40 after 30,000 xp
Level 5 and 50 after (missed this one)
Level 6 and 60 after 68,400 xp
Level 7 and 70 after 93,600 xp
Level 8 and 80 after Havent reached yet
Level 9 and 90 after 149,400 xp
Level 10 and 100 after Havent reached yet
Level 11 and 110 after Havent reached yet
Level 12 and 120 after Havent reached yet
Level 13 and 130 after Havent reached yet
Level 14 and 140 after Havent reached yet
Level 15 and 150 after Havent reached yet (aegis set, tr-116b)
Level 16 and 160 after Havent reached yet
Level 17 and 170 after Havent reached yet
Level 18 and 180 after Havent reached yet
Level 19 and 190 after Havent reached yet
Level 20 and 200 after Havent reached yet
Ill update as I go just thought it might be helpful if someone knows what level they need (i know because most of the special items are level 15) they can figure out how many experience points they need to hit that level.

Cryptic have totally lost it here ... The idea was sound, remove the Dil items from game, and have the Crafting System as an alternative way of getting/creating that gear.
Have a multitude of Crafting Materials as an EC sink, in order to stabilize the economy in game, and have players spend time on Crafting, rather than just the 'Rich Kids" buying all the best gear from stores.
Sounds great, and should have worked very well ... Except, as per usual, some idiot set the bar far to high, and now very few will bother.
Roughly half a year, to level enough schools, to be a viable 'Crafter" in game is just pathetic, and ultimately self defeating.
All that will happen is those same 'Rich kids" will 'buy' their way to the top, then put the items on the exchange for ludicrous prices ... Just like it is now, with the same result = a dead/dying economy, and a declining population.

You nailed it...
That's exactly what's going to happen. If anyone thinks the exchange is horrible now, just wait this time next year. It'll be unbearable for a new player.
One day Cryptic will be free from their Perfect World overlord. Until that day comes, they will continue to pamper the whales of this game, and ignore everyone that isn't a whale.
