advanced material box?

so yeah, for two days, I have been farming elite queues, and I only get the normal box, am I not supposed to get the advanced box? before I make a ticket that will have an automated response that has nothing to do with my question, I wanted to check with other players and see if they have an explanation

    i've done 6 or 7 elite stf's and i've gotten a green mat box each time. however, the highest quality i've gotten are blue mats, and not many of them each time. the rest was green and white quality mats.

    If you complete an Elite queue, you should get an uncommon item called "Advanced Queue R&D Materials" or something like that.

    Opening will guarantee you at least some amount of rare mats from it, with a chance for very rare mats. As for what VR you can get, just look at the part in paranthesis. Like (Trellium-K) for example.

    I just did my first elite in 9.5 and I got a advanced box, I opened it and I did end up getting some a stack of 3 of a VR mat...so they're dropping.

    they're just dropping very very infrequently, i know i've farmed the elite queues for a few days now and have only gotten purple mats to drop from the boxes once, considering i've done Infected Space, Khitomer Space, Cure Space, The Breach, Spire, Viscous Cycle, Undine Assault, and Undine Infiltration twice a day for each of those days...the chance for them to drop must be near infinitesimal.

    yeah, I'm up around 15 boxes and only got 1 drop of 3 so far.

    Nice, I've done 6-7 and got nothing. Glad to know the RNG still hates me. First no Bird Eggs and now no VR mats. Thanks Cryptic!
    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.
